Does your Yorkie Does any body else's Yorkie have a fetish with the sweeper , mop and broom? Everytime i use any of these Duke barks like crazy and chases them and tries to bite them. Its kind of funny but also annoying when you are trying to get things done. |
Hallie likes to jump on the broom and go for rides! Simon is scared to death of anything that moves like that (the vacuum, mop, broom,etc.) so he usually runs and hides! It takes me probably triple the time to sweep my kitchen than the "normal" person ;) |
Chanel attacks the vacuum cleaner from the time i turn it on till i pull out the plug, she barks at it like a crazy woman, soon as she sees me walk to pull the plug out, she jumps to get hold of it and takes it to the vacuum cleaner for me to roll it in - Chelsey stands on top of the dining room table while i vacuum, shes scared of it, she likes to watch her mad sister while shes giving the vacuum cleaner a go :p |
Ciera does the same thing!! When I mop and sweep the floor I have to put her in her pen or gate her out of the kitchen, otherwise she is barking and biting at the mop or broom. Now the vaccum, I think she is a little afraid of it. She will bark and growl at it and run, but if she is in her pen, she acts like she would just tear it up if she could get ahold of it!! LOL :p |

OH,,, where do I begin?? Here's some of the things that sends Bailey CRAZY... mops, brooms, sweepers, lint brushes, rakes, mowers, moving trashcans,opening a new trash bag, cleaning windows, cleaning cupboards, kids on skateboards, skates, bikes, shovels, air hoses, water hoses, hammers, tape measures, SHall I continue?? :rolleyes: ... I learned early it was ANYTHING that moves across something. Yeah, If I'm cleaning he's in his crate. If Im outside cleaning the windows he's inside attacking the glass trying to get the paper towel... smearing up the glass ,so I get to go inside and clean that! :thumbdown |

oh my god, this is a great topic.... lexi goes absolutely nuts over a vacuum and a broom... i vacuumed this weekend and all she does is bark like crazy. does not stop until it stops.. the broom , holy moly. she can look at one and just bark.. saturday on way to my moms house, we walked its so close, anyway some guy was outside sweeping the front of his house, well, lexi went nuts from down the block.. my cousin said what the heck is she barking at, i said you see that broom that guy is holding...anyway as we passed him, lexi grabbed the broom from him... oh god i was cracking up... these dogs are nuts... but so so funny |
Chicle likes to fight with the air from my dust buster.. its so funny then he barks at it. He goes crazy over my swifer too ... arent they COOKEY LIL CRITTERS!!! |
Oh I forgot some,,, Canes, umbrella,wheelchair . And Bailey comes to work with me,, so if someone comes in with a cane,, it is so embarrasing! I feel bad for the people. |
