Sounds to me like Taffy is feeling the absence of stuff... and knows things feel empty..I know my furkids know when we are going someplace.. and there are times when I cannot figure out how they know.. for we have not done anything to act like we were leaving.. but instinct is great with these little guys..their sence is outstanding.. Routine becomes habit and when things change they know it..so yes a good reason to get back on more often and not change things to fast for Taffy.. hehee I am sorry you have been grieving so long.. and I certainly understand.. my sister died 9 years ago.. and many times I still feel I am in a fog and wish she were here to call ... but I do believe my sister has been with me.. and makes me wonder.. not to spook you but I know my sister has been here.. and she lets me know.. and on many occasions over the years.. anne |

We are in a brand new house too, built in 2004, we built it, no one else has lived here. Right after we moved in we all kept hearing this scary, squeeking sound *like an old gate swinging* and could not find out were it was coming from. Everyone here knows I am the biggest scaredy cat alive, So DH made up a story about something that happened here years ago, where we built our house. I was ready to move out!!! Sorry to hijack:rolleyes: But our floor plan is open too, and Bonnie barks and scares me to death. But she IS seeing us or herself in the french door windows. |
Taffy really sound like she is a very smart little girl. We spell words around our furbabies but they have not figured it out. Isn't if funny how we treat them just like our skin kids. My boys are grown and live in FL with their families so I don't see them and the grand kids much. My 3 furbabies love our cat but if they are in their play yard outside and they see him they go crazy like they want to kill him. I think its that they are jealous because he is running free and they can't get to him. |
