Oh Boy! What a LOUD little tiny puppy I have! The breeder told me he was a screamer and she wasn't kidding! I'm trying to teach him that screaming won't get him out of his crate....whew, is he ever LOUD! I hope Lexi's Mommy had a nice quiet night with Tori. Mavrick isn't crazy about the new pup at all, but Mercedes is VERY good with him. He only weighs about 1.5 lbs, so I have to watch Mavrick very closely with him. The little bugger is asleep on my lap right now. He is totally pleasant when he is getting to do what he wants. We love him to death though. Here is another picture of him. We are still tossing names around.

He sure is a cutie! I hope you get a good nights rest. He sure seems worth it! ;) I can't wait to hear what his name will be..... :p

lycansmom 09-26-2005 07:21 AM

Oh goodness sounds like somebody is a little too used to getting his own way...well with a face that cute i dont blame the breeder at all LOL

Name Suggestion...

I know naming your pet is very personal decision. When I saw him, I thought of the name Samson or Sampson. People spell and pronounce it different. I know you did ask for any suggestions, just thought I would share. BTW he is so Adorable and will be worth the screaming! :-) CONGRATS!!!!

What a little Angel. All these new little babies, I am so jealous. I think my husband would kill me for real if I came home with another little one.

Thank you; I love the name "Sampson". I have a Rottie mix we named Sampson. Here is a picture of the new pup with him.....

I'm not real sure how it went there.....she sure wasn't emotional when we left with him. He is bull headed, that's for sure! You would be surprised how he stands his ground with Mavrick. He actually growls and snaps back....Mavrick acts like "top dog" around here, so that threw him quite a bit. I'm going to have to get them on video, they are just so funny to watch!

tmatherly 09-26-2005 07:38 AM

I can relate! Hard to believe something so small can make so much noise! My husband is the only reason Scout sleeps in his crate, and not our bed. He sounded so pitiful and it hurt me to think he was miserable. I would try to get up and get him and my husband would say, "you can't reward that behavior, he will be fine in a few days." Good thing we got him on the weekend!
I was wondering about Lexi's mom too. I hope Lexi is doing better with baby Tori-that will take a while too. She's probably busy watching them like a hawk. I remember how nerve wrecking it was just making sure Pippa was good to the new baby-you can't leave them alone until everyone gets adjusted and you know exactly how they treat each other!

Bentley&BitsysMom 09-26-2005 07:41 AM

I love what you did with the pictures you posted! He sure is cute.....and spoiled already...imagine that :D I think yorkies are born that way, lol :p

red98vett 09-26-2005 07:42 AM

hahaha Man can I relate too -

We had the SAME thing with Cheri - I was in shock at how something so tiny made THAT much noise and she was in bed with me her first night home ....I do have a brand NEW playpen that she never used out of that experience but she screamed her little head off too - I caved and she has slept with me since.

I have a feeling you will know how to handle all the screaming...I'm a woose and only have the 2 girls - YOU have more yorkies and I have faith mom will know what to do and he will settle down

whispersmom2 09-26-2005 08:01 AM

My new little girl, Miss No-Name, has been so good t night. I have to admit that she is the first Yorkie puppy that started sleeping in our bed from the day she arrived. She is so cute nd I think would sleep with the 6 others but mom sez she is too widdle....

tartisst 09-26-2005 08:11 AM

JULZ congrats....he is soooooo cute!

Lexi's_Mommy 09-26-2005 08:11 AM

Lexi and Tori both slept in Lexi's crate and Tori slept through the night and with no accidents. I didn't sleep well though cuz, I was worried how Lexi might act with her. I'm happy to say that Lexi was a good girl and today she is being so sweet to Tori. They are actually playing tug-o-war right now with Lexi's dead giraff that she ripped open and took the sqeaker and stuffing out of.

Julz, & whispersmom2, hope you get plenty of sleep tonight and glad to hear how happy everyone is with the new babies. I know we are tickled pink.

Marie 09-26-2005 08:59 AM

Julz, I hope you get to sleep tonite. He is so cute that i know you dont mind the noise. The neighbors that is another story, . I hope he settles down nicely soon and that Mavercik gets along with the little fellow. I lov e the pics.

Rini, I see you already gave up to Miss NoName. Gucci slept with me the first couple of days, actually she still does, ;) .

Lexi's mom, im so happy that Lexi and Tori are getting along so well. Awesome that they slept together all nite on the crate and no accidents.

Im so jealous that you have new puppies. Aww Puppy Breath. :D

chachi 09-26-2005 09:04 AM

Your little one is so cute! Thats how Jewels was when she was confined. She was so tiny and it was amazing that a pup that small could make all that racket.

mustangbee 09-26-2005 09:27 AM

How sweet! Great pictures too! Princess won't go in a crate, When I take her to the groomer's they get her in and out, because they don't have the time to hold her, and forget the crate, she wants no part of it. Mandy our Rotti & Poncho our Chihuahua will go in, but Princess, no way. I have a hard enough time making her sit in her car seat when we go out. Good Luck to all of you with new babies, hmmmmmmmmm maybe Santa will bring me one! :) (the hint is already in) :D
Have a great day all!

Sugar's Mom 09-26-2005 09:34 AM

I sure hope

Your new puppy is beautiful. My new puppy screams a lot too. Everytime I leave the room and he hates his playpen. He has been sleeping with me. I can't stand to hear the little guy scream. He slept nearly thru the night last night.

bchgirl 09-26-2005 11:26 AM

Well, that makes sense cause I'm totally pleasant when I get MY way too :D

I admit we caved in to the screaming, actually I caved because I seemed to be the only person who couldn't sleep through the crying. By night number 4, I needed some sleep ;)

Good luck with your new baby, he's adorable!!!

Oh Julz! He's Adorable! What a face! Maybe he'll settle down in a few days...it a new place and all. On the other hand...maybe you should just throw in the inevitable "towel"...hehe and bring him to bed with you!

Francie :)

Good News!

Actually I did try putting him in bed with me at 3:30 in the morning....he just wouldn't settle in and I wouldn't let him out of my arm/hand. HOWEVER!!!!....he has quieted down in the past hour! I am soooooo happy! It's like having a little kid.....too noisy at one point, then it makes me nervous when he is completely quiet! LOL! Whew, what a break the last hour has been. He got to play then only cried a little when he was put down for a nap. Thank God! He is such a precious little puppy! So very brave! Thanks everyone for posting, I truly do appreciate it! :D
