Tucker is being a bad boy Tucker has been getting on the kitchen table. If any food is left on the table he jumps up in a chair and gets on the table to get the food. If I keep the chairs pushed all the way up to the table there is not enough room for him to get between the chair and table to get up on it but I have 2 children, 9yrs old and 4 years old, and sometimes they forget to push their chair up. A couple times they have got up to go to the bathroom or something and come back to find that Tucker helped himself to what they were eating. Any suggestions? Does anybody else have a table surfer? |
lol too funny!!! my yorkies do the same thing. You just have to watch because my 3 year old 4 1/2 lbs girl ate 3 chicken cutlets ...which is A LOT of chicken... and vomited it all up!. watch the chocolate the kids eat too. My children are also 9 and 5 and tend to not watch their food as they eat too. I just thought my fur babies were table hog...LMAO. My dog is terrible. He is a cross between a cat and a mountain goat. If we don't keep the chairs all pushed in and something on them he will get up on the table every time. If my husband or I get up for just a second to get something, he is right up there. We just try to watch, but we don't always remember either. I just worry about him jumping off the table and hurting himself, so we never say anything to him - just quietly lift him down and go on with what we are doing. |
I've noticed one good thing about these babies, is that when they do get into something they shouldn't, they usually chuck it up...Apple doesn't get on the table (I have a pub table w/tall stools), but she sure does snag things on the sidewalk, and I watch her like a hawk:rolleyes:...And, if it's not good for her, it'll come up, thank goodness!!! No advice on training, I don't train lol... |
