well tomorrows the day
 

:aimeeyork Coby will come too his new home..tomorrow
however i've been through so much problems with trying too
get a healthy dog i think all my excitement was wash away:( i thought
by today i would be jumping out of my seats jumping for joy..
but i'm so com i just guess i'm now wondering what will happen next?
and i hate too feel like this but it's been a roller coaster dealing with this
horrible broker i thought was breeders.. im just wondering how it will
turn out.. i requested the breeder to keep Coby longer because of his age and i requested they send me a pictures of his parents and his parents health record all day was phone tag with breeder, broker..
i got a last minute call at the end of the day telling me they can't send the pics of Cobys family until tomorrow,, some good that'll do me Coby leaves Ok at 6 :25 am oh well i have too pray this will turn out for the best, i just wish i was more excited..
oh and im also so upsett the breeder, broker. picked a delivery date of Coby on a day i said i couldnt do now my friend has too pick him tomorrow because i'll be moving my mothers stuff out of her apartment
i guess this is why i feel so burnt out over this due too the damn broker company..they have horrible communication====:thumbdown

I will say prayers for you that you get a wonderful, healthy, new furbaby and that all goes well tomorrow.
I'm sure he will feel like the luckiest little guy in the world to have found you for a mommy and that he has a great forever home!!

Sorry you have gotten an education the hard way, but please know you aren't alone. It happens, and now prepare to move on and enjoy your new furbaby. It is a shame that all the drama has dampened your excitement, but get that little guy home and love him to pieces. Take him in for a vet checkup asap, and know there are lots of members here that will help you as situations arise.

Thinking of you and your baby today! Just a suggestion ... pick up a tube of "Vet Nutri-Cal" suppliment from your vet and send it with you friend who is picking up your baby. I would also send some bottled water along with the suppliment. This will be a long, stressful day for your little one. God bless you and please let us know how he is doing when you finally get him.

Praying that he's happy, healthy and just the pick-up you'll need after spending the day moving your mom's stuff. Nothing quiet perks me up like puppy breath and baby kisses.

How long is your little one going to be flying today? You said he leaves OK at 6:25 am, when does he arrive? How many plane changes does he have to make before he reaches you? I am glad Bettyanne suggested your friend take the Nutrical to the airport. I have a feeling your little one is going to be in great need of replenishment with water and sugar.

I have not been on for a few days and am catching up today. I was surprised you had gone through with this broker situation. I think them not sending you the parent's pictures and especially shipping on a day you said you could not pick up, are more serious red flags. Don't expect any support from this broker. I understand why your enthusiasm is dampened. But since you decided to go ahead and do business with this person, perk up and be ready to greet your puppy with all the love and attention he is needing.

Don't think badly of the puppy, but be prepared for behavior issues. When a puppy comes from these mill/broker situations especially so young, they are usually unsocialized and lacking the parental/sibling bonding that gives puppies a good start. You will have to be especially patient and persistent to overcome this. Also be sure to get him to the vet tomorrow for a thorough check-up.

I tell you this, not to frighten or discourage, but to help you be prepared. So many times, we read the frantic threads started by people with unsocialized puppies coming from mills and brokers, or just too early separated from their family. If you have the info up front, it won't be such a shock. Then, if your little one turns out to be the exception and adapts easily, all the better -- a good surprise!

hi i explain why i had too go through this i would lose most of my money.. and i can't aford this i thought i would lose just 5 but also i would lose 200 so i just pick a different dog from mr manners.. anyways Coby went too the vet today.. and its been very hard getting Coby too eat since the very first day Coby stop eating food and would only drink water.. I have him on nutrical and i would continue giving him it until he really picjs up some weight.. he was pretty much just laying around for like a day and a half but today he has more energy sence he saw the vet.. i had her take and Xray of Cobys belly because he didnt poop yet
it's been more then 24 hrs and he never poop so i told her i was very worry.. she said cobys full with alot of gas and some poop he needs to pass.. she tried too give him soft foods too see if the food the breeder had him on he didnt like but coby wouldnt eat the food.. no matter what
so she put him on petiatric pedialyte and she said too keep trying to give him turkey. chicken gerber, or beachnut baby food stage 2 and i can mix it with rice in a bottle for Coby, she did say that she dose believe coby came from a dog mill and it's sad because he's too young too be at my house and coby only weighs a pound and a 1/2 so either the breeder lied about coby weighing 2 lbs or he lost weight from not eatting..?
she also said that she didnt like him being registerd with aca,? she thought that was strange and too change this asap? well she let coby go and she said she wants full update on him and when he poops let her know asap because these little dogs you have too watch all the time
so they dont get sick she also gave meds too help with him getting sick too the stomic she said cobys stressed and thats why he's acting the way he is.. however today he's been like a different dog he's giving kisses and running around more active after he saw the vet .. if anyways might know what could i do too help this puppy eat more and go poop?

Try to give him some canned pumpkin (not pumpkin PIE mix w/spices), just plain pumpkin. Put a little on your finger to put in his mouth. It is good for constipation OR diarrhea. Keep trying the baby foods the vet suggested too, moist foods are best at this stage, and maybe even a little plain yogurt. Offer him some boiled chicken breast, finely diced, and some of the broth too. It is pretty normal for new puppies to be picky about food at first, but you must stick with him til he's eating.
