Inquiring minds want to know...heehee |
I really hope he gets his new home soon. |
she's probably too busy to post cause she's working on hubby.....trying to get him to let her keep little Thumper :D |
Sorry guys, I was really busy today but meant to post a new picture of him. He went to the groomers today and he now looks even more handsome. It was a very scarey time for him. When we got out of the car and Thumper heard the other dogs (she also boards animals) he became so frightened that he had an accident. He also growled at our groomer but she was so good with him. After we left she said he calmed down and only growled one time. When we went to pick him up he was so excited to see our little girl (he is still fearful of hubby and me). We went for a walk today and he seemed to enjoy it. Today, Tori (our 5 year old) said, "Daddy, you know what I want for Christmas? Thumper!" I think that got to him. He still says we have to find him a home, but I am beginning to wonder if he might change his mind. I will post pictures tomorrow. P.S. Some of the folks interested in Thumper have ask some good questions: 1. He is not neutered and has never been bred. 2. He weighs somewhere between 4 and 5 pounds (I am going to take him to the post office(that is where we weigh our dogs) to get an exact weight. 3. He is still fearful of other dogs(getting better) and strangers but has never actually bitten anyone (but growls like he is going to take off your leg) 4. He has had a few accidents in the house, but appears to be mostly housebroken. |
Maybe he'll soften up! |
I really hope hubby changes his mind and keep him. |
glad to hear the good news! |
awwww..little Thumper is taking a trip to the post office :) I think it's so neat that he is bonding with your little girl! At least you know that if it doesn't work out there are wonderful takers on here :) |
I'll bet Daddy's Little Girl will soften him up and you'll get to keep Mr. Thumper! Can't wait to see his pictures! |
Oh how cute!!!! Boy is your little girl smart! I think your husband should put a big red ribbon on Thumper and tell your daughter Merry Christmas! How sweet is that! If it can't work for you to keep him, maybe you have a family member who can take him, that way he will always be in your family. In any case, God Bless you for saving him, instant hero in my book! Yorkies are special,(all pets are) and it takes special people to take care of them. Take care! And please keep us posted! |
Sounds like Thumper is doing much better. I bet your daughter can soften up your hubby. Good luck! |
