Just wanted to know if anyone gives their furbabies sweet treats? Hello all my fellow Fur parents..... just wanted to know if any of you give your furbbabies any sweet treats.... such as cake or cookies?.... I know they are not allowed to have any kind of chocolate... or nuts.... I see all these doggie bakeries all around and wanted to know if it is safe to give furbabies any kind of treats from there?...... I would like if anyone could please tell me what kind of special treats you give your lil furbabies ?.... so I have an idea of what to give my lil guy..... thank you:) |
We have a doggie bakery in the store I go to and I got Laci one and she didnt appear to care for it, she kind of nibbled and then walked away.. |
Ted is just as happy with a chopped up 1/4 of an apple handfed one piece at a time as he is with a lick or two of my icecream. Hearing him eat the apple is the bestest. Also give him nonfat yogurt. Easy on the apples at first or you may get a mushy poopie...just a couple small pieces (skin off). |
veggies! the girls loooove carrots, apples and fresh, blanched, then frozen green beans right out of the freezer. Once in awhile a honey nut cheerio. But, I think the like veggies more. I give 'em treats for doing their business in the right place, for when they get back in the xpen, after baths, nail clipping...anything I want them to think of as pleasurable... |
The only sweet things Apple gets are small pieces of apple or 5 or 6 blueberries...I do give her Innova Baked Biscuits, but they're not sweet... |
The closest mine get to sweets are the Yogurt Drops and they do love those! They are made by Vitakraft and Petsmart sells them. I just wish they made them a little smaller. I have to break them in half because I am always afraid they will choke on the big round drops. |
I'm going to try the yogurt drops for him.... he eats fruit... I give him little pieces of bananas, strawberries, apples, sometimes pears..... thanks fur parents for your feedback........... |
