Slim Jim or Porky Yorkie Well, might as well throw this one out there too! Do you have a Slim Jim or a Porky Yorkie...I DO NOT mean anything ugly when I use those terms. So, I hope that no one takes offense. Go ahead, measure your yorkie's waist! What do you come up with? Chester is 13 even Gracie is 12 1/2 Rebel is a WHOPPING 11 inches! How big are your furbabes? |
haha - FUNNY thread because I measured my petite :p baby Chanel and she is a good 16" around - but with hair I figure 18 because it's to the ground on both sides - Cheri is just skinny but I think around 11" |
Jo is still 8 x 8 with a 10" waistline...he weighs 3lb. 9oz. at almost 10 months. Riley is 7 x 7 with about a 9" waisteline and he weighs 2lb. 6oz. at 4 months. They're both solid but I guess they're considered to be on the Slim Jim side. |

Yes, they are tiny but mighty and fast! I'll post their picture if they ever stay still long enough for me to take one. |

Rowdy seems absolutely tiny to me - but he is 4 lbs at 7 months with a 10 1/2 inch waist. I just can't imagine him being any smaller!!! Of course, he is absolutely perfect just the way he is! |
Slim Jim here! Gucci weighs 4 lbs 6 oz on her visit last month to the vet. Her measurements are :7" neck, 10 1/2" waist and 9" long(from neck to tail). I guess she is a Slim Jim. |

Twinkie is 8" from base of neck to base of tail, 8.5" waist, 7" to the top of her shoulder, and 2lb 4 oz at over 7 months old. I'd say she is a slim jim |
How are you guys measuring your yorkies height and length? |
Gus is a Slim Jim. He really isn't that small but he is so skinny. He's 12 1/2 inches from his neck to the base of his tail, 4 1/2 pounds give or take but his waist is only 8 1/2 inches. |
