Bathing? How often should i bath Rambo? Is once a week too much? |
Some people bathe once or twice a week, some only a couple times a month. I think it's ok to bathe once a week :) |
Hi...I bathe mine as needed - it depends on how dirty or what they've been doing but I found using good shampoos makes a big difference - When Chanel was little I used Puppy Tearless and sometimes I'd see her scratching ...when we started using the CC Systems shampoo I've never seen either girls get itchy or dry. |
I bathe my dogs every two weeks but if you want to bathe every week it will do no harm. It probably keeps them from getting that doggie smell. |
i was bathing Pudgy about once a week and when i told them that at the vet they said 2 times a month because they have very sensitive skin since they only have 1 coat.i still think thats not enough but i guess they are the experts. i still give him baths though.. |
i bathe my girls every 2 weeks. my 2 boys sometimes tend to begin to have "doggy smell" a bit sooner so i am usually having to bathe them every other week. and not to mention all the in-between paw rinses i do...lol . i also clean their little rear-ends as needed with non-perfumed baby wipes. huggies has a nice aloe vera one. |
I do once a week but thats becasue my baby is cottony and I have to bath her to make her softer. I think it depends on the dog and how well ther skin can handle it. |
