More on Haylee Haylee is fiting in to our home just wonderfully!!! Graff still doesn't know quite yet whether he should like her or not, but I have caught him a couple of times wagging his little tail at her if he thought no one was looking. We finally have a petsmart close by. God I love it and could have spent so much money on Graff and Haylee. But they both got treats and Haylee got a new food dish and collar and leash. They are pink and white. Haven't put it on her yet though. If anyone has seen the petsmart commercial where the little dog is carrying around the long squeak toy, well they had them there and I just had to get one. Haylee loves it and carries it around or tries to. It is bigger than her. I have one of those soft sided carriers that I leave open and on the floor, when she gets tired she climbs in and goes to sleep. Still sleeps with us every night and has slept all night long. Wakes me up with loads of puppy kisses about 5 in the morning. I saw so many things today that I wanted to get Graff and Haylee. But she will have to grow a bit and I need to save up some money. I have always went to petco to get stuff and it is so nice to have two places to choose from. I am still looking for the disc for my camera so that I can take pictures and post them. |
Yay! What sweeties you have! Graff will love her in no time! How easy is it to spend too much money at Petsmart?? I have to limit my shopping for that very reason ;) I'm glad to hear all is going well! |
Haylee sounds very sweet. May I offer some advice? I would not use a collar. You don't want to harm her trachea any. We use harnesses. They are just as effective and in no way harms the throat area. On the bright side, would love to see pictures of Haylee! |
It sounds like you are having loads of fun with them! :D |
The most wonderful thing happened while I was cooking supper. Graffy and Haylee started playing and chasing each other through the house!!! This is such a breakthrough and I was pretty sure that it would happen. But he is so funny sometimes that I was starting to worry. Of course, they haven't done it since. Haylee ate her dinner, went outside and promptly climbed in her carrier and went to sleep. Graff is asleep in my hubby's recliner. Haylee does not seemed to be bothered with her collar at all and when I took her outside she walked on lead pretty darn good. Of course it is dark outside and she doesn't care to be out after dark. Thanks for the post about the harness. I could not find one small enough for her anywhere and really needed to get her something today. But I will keep searching for one small enough for her. |
