Thank goodness she's okay!!!!!!! |
She isn't over 12 weeks. She is only 9 weeks. I know she was too young to get but I didn't know that at the time. She doesn't eat really good is why I gave it to her. The vet said to continue to give it toher everyday for now. I was only giving her just a pea size amount once a day. He said to give it to her more times a day. Quote:

Anyway..I was told to give itto her cause she was so tiny when I got her and was such a picky eater. So now i'm worried about giving itto her. I feel darned if I do and darned if I don't... |
I am so glad you knew what to do and gave her nutrical and got her to the vet. I got CAli at 9 weeks and she went hypoglycemic a few days after I got her and she was such a picky eater. I had to feed her every 3 hours at first, and give her anything she would eat. I gave her chicken and ceasar's wet food (garbage) but she ate it. She had a couple more mild attacks but just keep an eye on her and try and find something she likes to eat, you can always get her on a good food once she is a little older. Cali is now 4 and eats like a little pig. I will pray things work out with your children, that is so much worry and heartache I know Miley will do wonders to lift your spirits. |

so glad things are going better. Unfortunately, hypoglycemia can even strike a 5# dog.....you did the right thing for her today. Glad things went well. |
I will definitly be praying for you and your children, including Miley.:lovewings My children are 15, 19 and 23. One reason I got my lil Cooper was to snuggle, since my skin kids won't do that much any more. I can totally relate! |
I'm so glad Miley is okay. I have a little 16 month old 3 lb girl and I still worry about her. I let her free feed but she won't eat it unless I hand fed her. So thankful you knew what to do. :) |
Thank you for your kind words..I appreciate it so much I have a question..do I feed her anything at all or will that upset her tummy n give her the poops..I thought i wasn't supposed to switch her foods around |

I have hand fed her from day one. I had to do that with my chihuahua. I'm going to try everyone's suggestions. Hopefully between the all of us we can get her to eat. Darnlora..don't feel bad you gave me a good laugh..puppy crack...lol.. I raise chickens..at this point i'd bout offer her one of them if I thought she'd eat it lol.. I can imagine that lil Miss Miley is going to grow up to be quite the lil Diva..turnin her lil nose up to who knows what lol.. I may have some good news abouut my daughter..I have been talking to her all day and I may have her talked into moving home. Prayers please..lots of them. I can't take her being there. He is so mean to her. I've called and got an idea of what it'd cost for us to fly and get her and bring her home..so now all I need is for her to give me a defenite yes. So everyone please pray she says yes. I'm afraid if she stays with him too long he will go frm mentally abusing her to physically. |
I am keeping the prayers going!! |
