Yorkies in our faces! My mom and I have pups from the same litter, now almost 5 months old. They have different kinds of coats and VERY different personalities. But they have one thing in common that we've never seen in any of the other dogs we've had. They LOVE to get in our faces. They lick us in the mouth and want to sit under our chins. Personally, I love a face full of warm puppy, but I could live without some of the kisses. Is this in your face stuff a family trait of our sisters or a Yorkie trait? Just curious. |

Mollie is 1 1/2 years old and her favorite place to sit on me is still right on my chest as close to my face as she can get. Wyatt at 8 weeks doesn't do it as much but, he has. She loves to give me kisses she doesn't do this to my husband just to me. I guess it's just a special thing to do with mommy. |
Ruby does that to my boyfriend and I too. If we are laying in bed watching tv she will come stand on our chest and stare at us. She stands almost on our necks she gets so close to our face and if we push her to our stomachs she will run back up to our face. I think it's an attention thing. She also gives a lot of kisses too. |
Rosi is a little over 6 mo. old and still does this to me too ! |
Its a yorkie trait. They love to be in our face and demand to lick your face off. Jewels my yorkie will lick your face untill you push her away. I know what you mean My dogs are from the same father but different mothers and their coats and personalitys are different. |
in your face our yorkie does the same thing , he will sometimes take you by surprise and jump right at your face and start licking your nose and mouth. you have to be careful cause if he is too excited he sneak a nibble on the nose too, ouch :animal36 |
I ask mine for kisses and they each take one side of my face and try to lick me to death. Lacey will go for the nostril sometimes, ugh. Chloe, right for the mouth. |
