Grooming pics Hi, I'm new to YT... I've been lurking around a few weeks now though! I have a little boy (almost 2) that I just adopted about 3 weeks ago. His hair was long and scraggly and very thin looking when I brought him home. I got him groomed and switched his diet to EVO (from purina...ick!) and now his coat looks a MILLION times better... shiny, thicker, etc. My question is... How should a boy yorkie be groomed in the face? I've seen many different cuts on the face and was wondering what the standard is and if you guys could post some pics? |
2 Attachment(s) I just depends on what you like. I keep Nolee's face in a puppy cut. I have the rest of him in a schnauzer cut. It is much easier to keep up. He loves being outside and this makes things easier. Good luck on your decision. |
Very cute! I guess my question really is... top knot or no top knot on boys? |
When I had males I kept them in topknots and manly colored bows. |
Welcome to YT! I use the fabric pony tail holders for my topknot while they are just around the house. I think you get like 50 of them for about $3.00. They come in many colors, so I use the blues/greens for the boys. I use fabric ones around the house, because my Rosey thinks it is a game to see how long it takes her to get all the topknots out of all the dogs. |
Hmmm. I was just going to ask how you kept the bows and rubber band in the topknots. Mine look so cute and within 2 minutes the bows and rubberbands are gone. Any solutions? |
