Puppy's 1st birthday party favors Kingston's 1st birthday is coming up and I want to give out cute little party favors to his puppy pals and their mommies and daddies. Any suggestions? |
For Gracie Ruth's 1st Birthday I found some adorable little squeaky toys on sale for a dollar. I also bought some fleece material from the remanet bin, cut them into strips and braided them for pull toys. And I bought a couple of different boxes of G's favorite cookies and split them into small snack size baggies. I plan to do something similar for Yogi's 1st Birthday party this Sat. |
ooh that sounds nice. i possibly may do that. thanks! |
For the mommies and daddies there are some really cute items in a paw print design this site: Oriental Trading Company Plus, I found some paper clips there shaped like dog bones...really cute! |
For Copper's 1st I put out a doggie buffet type set up. I had a basket of assorted squeek tennis balls, a basket of squeek toys, cookies, bullysticks. I just put the goodie bags at one end of the table and then each mommy or daddy filled their goodie bag. I but a sign on the baskets please take one, two,etc... Then I had a couple door prize or game prizes that were things like candles, or people snack baskets, and our favorite dog shampoo and conditioner:) everyone had alot of fun, the doggy buffet table was a hit. Oh and we also did pupcakes and cupcakes(make sure the pupcakes don't look too much like the cupcakes;)) I hope you take lots of pictures and post them after the party:) |
I had Sam's 1st party had his daycare. Instead of presents we asked everyone to bring something for Operation Kindness, No Kill Shelter. The daycare made goodie bags for everyone and in them, they included stuffed squeaky toy, treats, a regular squeaky toy, and a coupon for their daycare. I know they ordered a lot of their toys from PetEdge. |

Go to target and dollar tree. They always have cute adorable things like a shirt, comb, chew toy, collor, leash and can't forget the treats! :) |

For Max's bday party (this was a couple of weeks ago), I had a basket filled with treat bags. I had some that were for kids and the others were filled for pups. The pup ones had a toy, bully stick, some jerky, and random treats (like 6 different kinds). :) They were in cute Happy Birthday bags tied with ribbon. |

I have no connection with the company except as a satisfied customer. I started ordering trinkets for classroom incentives, etc. back in the 70's and have never been disappointed in anything but their pencils. They may be better now but back then the erasers seemed like they were coated with something and made a mess of kids' papers. I haven't ordered their wooden pencils since the mid-70's so perhaps they are improved now. However, just in case, I wouldn't order a huge quantity of pencils until you have tried the eraser. (Mechanical pencils were fine.) Anything else I've ever gotten from them was of good or exceptional quality for the price. Our school clubs and festivals used to get items from there, too. Just FYI, I know they used to take purchase orders although unless I was using grant money, I generally used my own checkbook. Nowadays I feel secure in using my credit card. They are also fairly prompt in shipping their merchandise. It's really a great place, too, for ordering Sunday school or VBS craft supplies. To the OP...I hope you don't mind my sharing the additional info. I thought it might help you, too. |
