My Little Alarm Clock Sugar is one of the most predictable pups I've ever met! :p When we go to bed she sleeps on my pillow with her little bottom facing me  and she'll migrate around the bed a little from there but ALWAYS touching me (she's afraid I'll sneak off :D) At 6:54am she will get up off from my pillow and walk down to my feet and "walk the plank" up my body to either my chest if I'm lying on my back or my "cuddle" pillow I have next to me:aimeeyork. She will then lay down on my chest(cuz by then I've rolled over if I hadn't been....) and wait for me to massage her little neck :yelrotflm:yelrotflm:yelrotflmso I massage her for a minute and fall back asleep. She'll give me until 7:03am and head down to the foot of the bed to "walk the plank" a second time! If it's a weekday....I get up. But if it's a weekend we might do this every 9 minutes until I can't get back to sleep It is so hilarious- every morning I'm like "let me guess...6:54am" :D |
LOL...my Onni "walks the plank" also. She hears our German Shephard stir and starts walking the plank, then running the plank until one of us gets up. :-) |

I know! These little fur babies have us all wrapped tightly around their tiny paws; and they know it! |
Too cute! I have little alarm clocks myself! Great on the weekdays, sucks on the weekend!:p |
Rockie wakes me up at 6:30a.m. along with my real alarm clock on my blackberry. As soon as Rockie wakes my phone alarm goes off. Its to cute. |
Gracie Ruth will sit on my chest and pat my cheek with her soft little paw. "Momma? Are you awake? Momma?" I open my eyes and there's her sweet little face looking at me all happy. It's the best way in the world to wake up. :D |
Scooter totally does it. He actually sleeps under the covers most of the time so if he still happens to be under, he will crawl along my side and poke his head out of the covers. It normally puts him in perfect position to lick my face while laying down so that I move first. If I don't move, he will crawl a little farther forward and do it again. He is a crazy little man but I love how sweet he is. It always makes me smile. :D:D:D |
I wonder what will happen when the time changes  |
Tia wakes around 6.45 but won't move until I tell her. She then has wee wees and goes back to bed for a couple of hours. Last night though she worried me, she started a little cry just gently , I woke and it was 3.00am, she was sitting up so I thought she must need potty , I said come on then and she ran downstairs like a bullet out of a gun and I let her out as fast as I could and she had a big runny one! Bless her she was so desperate and I told hubby off for giving her a sausage last night lol |
Suzi is extremely loyal .She does not get up at all until I do. SHe always has been like this. She waits for me know matter what time it is. Now the little puppy is also doing this too. They both attack me sometimes with sweet kissess. I feel so loved all the time. However, Suzi is especially concerned about my well being. She does not budge , unless she hears an unfamilar sound, then she turns into Kujo > After all the fierce barking is over she will be right back at my side, and she is one that has to be touching me too. :aimeeyork |

One night I guess I didn't hear her and I woke up to her whimpering FROM THE FLOOR to get back into bed (I have an extremely high bed and she was extremely desperate ) I found little droplets of runny poo all the way to her potty pad! Poor thing....she really tried to make it :aimeeyork |
Samantha used to wake me up at 6 am sharp when she was younger. Usually with a quiet woof, but when she was a pup she used to stick her tongue in my ear! YUK! But too cute. I worried about the time changing but somehow she just knew to change time too. Now that she is a more mature young lady, she sleeps until I wake up. |
My two are weirdos I guess! LOL They stay in bed even after I get up and slowly make there way out! Its funny, they arent morning people LOL! |
My little alarm clock Tucker is my alarm clock also. He starts around 5:30 AM. I'm retired, and could sleep much later. He starts by laying his head on my face. He then starts licking my eyes. If I pull the covers over my face, he frantically scratches at the sheet. He goes to my husband first, and wakes him. I like to stay up late, and 5:30 is way too early for me to begin my day. I wonder if this pattern will ever change. It's not because he has to go potty. He's just ready for the day to begin. If I put him down to go on his pee pad, he just stays at the bed, and barks. It's like "Mommy, you're a lazy bum. I'm ready to start my day. So get up already." Tucker's sleepy Mom |
