Walker is getting a brother! Levi (will be named 'Captain Morgan', or 'Morgan' for short) is from his mom's June litter and both dogs even have the same dad. Anybody out there have dogs that are related that way? With the same exact gene pool, Levi should get to be around the same size as Walker, right? This is so exciting! At the same time I feel a little sad for Walker: he's been #1 for a year and 1/2 and now we'll have to fuss over the little guy 24/7. Will he feel left out? How do you not short-change anybody? I don't want to show favoritism to any of my dogs, but a puppy just needs a lot of attention. Any suggestions???? |
When the girls Angel and Ceci (sisters from the same litter) came to live with us I always made sure my Jack was in my lap when I was playing with the babies and he did just fine. |
I don't have any advice, just wanted to say:congrats: |
Congratulations! I wish I had some advice for you. I kind of wonder the same thing. I am looking for a brother or sister for my Roscoe and I worry about him being jealous. I so want another one, but I don't want him to be upset either! |
Hi & Welcome to YT! Congrats on getting Levi! |
Congratulations!! MY Pixie's father is Roxie's grandfather and they have a similar look but way different coats. They get along so well and team up on my other yorkie who is not related. Don't worry you will have enough love for both. Also they will play with each other alot and you can sit back and enjoy the show. I always had only one dog at a time and was afraid of being disloyal to the one I had, but finally got another, tha another and then another!!! I love having multiples. They really are so cute to watch and they still love me. |
