Spoiled? My mom dropped a couple of chips on the floor, and her dog ate one no questions asked. Tila on the other hand sniffs it, and looks up at her. My mom said to her, "What's wrong with you, you're a brat, I'm not breaking it for you." I said, "Excuse me? Tila is not a brat, she is a princess, she likes things a certain way." My ma then goes, "Princess? More like the Queen." LOL! Tila likes her treats, I have these itty bone biscuits. Tila will take it and spit it out, it has to be broken into smaller pieces. lol. She won't like break it or chew it into smaller bits, someone has to break it up everytime and give her a piece at a time. LOL! That's my girl. Maybe just a wee spoiled. P.S. My mom's dog just ate one, and Tila didn't eat any. |
That is so funny! She might be just a tensy bit spoiled! That's ok though....they deserve it! |
My Rosey is the same way, all her human treats have to be small bites! We call her the princess of the house! |
Tila is one smart furbaby. That is really good she does'nt put everything that drops on the floor in her mouth. Rockie is geeting better with not being to quick to jump at everything on the floor. |
Thats whats so great about these little fur babies. They are SMART and know how to work their mommies and daddies ! Bailey is the SAME way, we travel alot and since Bailey was a baby we would pour our water from our water bottle into the cap of the bottle and give her water that way. Now, Whenever she sees a water bottle she starts licking the outside to let us know she wants some. People think we are crazy for catering to her every whim but to us it makes us happy, we wouldnt have it any other way. |
Spoled my yorkie is spoiled and i love it she is my baby and wouldnt have it any other way:) |
Onni is spoiled and we would not have it any other way! She is known around here as THE "Princess" :D |
Scooter is spoiled too. While your mom may think it is brat behavior, I disagree. I trained Scooter not to go after anything that drops on the floor. He has learned that if he waits, he will get an even better reward. My mom could drop anything on the floor and her dog would act the same as your mom's. Scooter would look up and ask permission. If he hears a relese word, he goes for it. If the treat is bigger than him, he does like to have sme assistance but it isn't always necessary. For example, Scooter's chicken treats are big. He will bring a strip to me when I sit down and all he wants is for me to hold one end. I don't need to break it into pieces, I just need to help him have a solid grip for chowing down. They are such funny babies. My mom couldn't believe it but has since adjusted her thinking! Scooter is spoiled and I think it is a good thing. :D |
Lol, too funny. Jackson wouldn't have eaten it either but that's because he does not like potatoe chips, period. Any potato products, he turns his nose up to. Chips, mashed potatoes, french fries. He's weird :p |

Such little princesses:p |
Rosie is exactly the same, buisits or treats even small puppy ones have to brocken into smaller pieces, she prefers to wait until Alfie has done the hard work with chews, she likes the end to be softened for her. And she'll sit and wait until I move away from her dish before she'll touch her dinner.A proper princess. |

No she is not spoiled. She is well loved and she has us totally trained. On the other hand, since she is a certified, registered service dog, she is also totally trained. She behaves impeccably in a store, never a bark or anything. She is always waiting for me to cough or choke, but also, always ready to have her ears scratched or to be petted by anyone! Take that back..sometimes she will just pull away form someone. guess it really is instinct. She had a real love affair with a guy employee and his fiancee at Target. Well the guy left several months ago and she has not seen him except once over Memorial Day. Well, he was at the store - outside - waiting for his girl to get off work yesterday. We got out of the car to go to the store and she saw him. I thought she was going to squirm her way out of my arms to get to him. She plastered his face with kisses. Amazing, her memory. He was so pleased that she still loved him after all this time. She is faithful, that is for sure! Myrna, Proud Mom of Tiki. |
