I finally got photos of the little breeder we adopted.
Gracie is also Adie and Skeeter's mother. we had to cut her hair short to make it all match. She has been fighting fleas for a while and chewed her hair off from the waste down. It is surprising how fast her hair is growing back in! She got a cortisone shot and that is helping a lot. She is scheduled for her spay tomorrow morning. Sigh. I hope she doesn't get too scared! Anyway here's Gracie the little deer lookalike! ;)

Awww she's precious. How wonderful you were able to adopt the mom
to your pup;s. Isn't that sweet she get's to be in the same loving
home as her offspring. How little she is. Love the picture of her
kissing daddy:p Love her coloring, she is exactally what I would want
as Bud's sister. Looks just like him only smaller, much smaller.

I bought Gracie's PJ's from Aquinn who was kind enough to race out on her lunch hour to mail them to me. I needed to get something in an XS fast to cover up Gracie's butt. YT members are so sweet! I looked in Target, Petco and Petsmart and couldn't find anything!

I wish I could have taped the two of them when the breeder brought her into the house. Gracie jumped right up into his lap and started kissing his face. Then she laid down and he started sweet talking her in a really soft voice. She was eating it up from the get go! He is calling her Gracie Grace.

I was wondering how much she weighed too -- she looks like a puppy herself. That is what drew me to Yorkies in the first place -- eternal puppies. :)

Love the pic of her kissing "daddy." That is one for the scrapbook!

OMG Ann,
She absolutely quivers when dh walks into the room! she is TOTAL daddy's girl and he is loving it! She likes me ok and wants to sit in my lap if his isn't available but boy does she ditch me fast when he comes in. LOL

Gracie weighed in at 5lb 4oz. but the vet used that big old step-on scale that all dogs use. I bet if she had used baby scales she would have come in under 5 lbs. She is very long and her legs are also very long but her little feet are so delicate-looking! If/When she gains weight I'm sure she will be wearing a small but right now she is wearing XS's.

Her spay went well. Tiny little incision and just a bit of bruising. She seems to be fairly comfy.

I can't thank you enough for your advice about the flea allergy. After 2.5 weeks we have removed the pj's and she isn't biting at her back and hind quarters. She is, however chewing on her toe nails. Go figure. I imagine they are a bit sore because the vet cut them to a normal length while she was anesthetized and I'm sure she cut into the quick. Those nails were soooo long!

Thanks! Of course you have to realize that daddy is a bit on the big size which is making Gracie look tiny.

She is a sweetie! I love the deer look alike- we tend to think Ryders huge ears make him look like a bat boy! LOL
