Has anyone shipped food to the UK? As we have a limited range of good foods here in the UK, I am thinking about ordering from the US? Can this be done (ie any laws against importing dog food)? Would it be cheaper to get a friend to ship it (maybe a YTer friend? ;)), or just get it direct from the supplier? I am expecting shipping costs to be horrendous. Anyone done this before? (thinking of Natural balance sweet potato and venison, because I think Toby has allergies. have emailed the company to see what they say) |

My 2 woof it down and as a treat I cook some liver and add it to their food. Tip, read the ingrediants on all dog food to make sure it does'nt contain Animal Deregatives |
Shell I found this link I couldn't find anything on animal food, but this has contacts at the Food standards agency, they should be able to advise you. I know there are strict rules as my younger bro keeps a vietnamese pot bellied pig, but that comes under another govt dept the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries |
Isnt Purina supposed to be a low quality food? |
|
If it is I apologise, I feed my 2 on it after advice from vets. The Vet likened it to Burns dog food. |

Most here agree that it isnt a great food, .......but anyway, back to the topic :p |
just done the same as you but got a differant answer. Purina Dog, is a poor quality food with a rating of F and a score of 63, however Purina Pro Plus natural is rated A and scores 103. Just looked at the food I get and they are both Purina Pro Plus, 1 adult and 1 puppy. Phew.:D |
