Breeding?
 
My boy is a Silky Terrier and my girl is a regular full breed yorkie... Would the pups be considered full breed yorkie?

Absolutely not, the only way you'd be able to have purebred yorkies is breeding two purebred yorkies.

I think you need to study before you decide to breed. Much more to breeding than putting to dogs together.

FYI, a Silky Terrier and a Yorkshire Terrier are totally 2 different breeds.

If you read his other posts, the OP bought the first Yorkie who I guess he now thinks is a Silky his wife. ;)

Just reading the other posts, they come off very nieve. I guess that is due to the fact he knows nothing about dogs.

I worry about that too. Either being hubby or wife, they shouldnt be breeding these dogs if they dont even know what they are =( They dont even mention the size of either dog! :confused: An innocent animal could die there. :thumbdown

Not to mention testing. Gah too much unknown.

:goodpost: The male is really large which is why the OP is questioning whether he is a Yorkie or a Silky. He didn't get papers with him, either.

I pray he gets both of them fixed so there is no pregnancy, either accidental or planned.

Oh crud!! Thats horrid! I didnt look into their posts. But WOW. Just WOW.

Poor dogs dont need that, nor do they. I hope it all works out :(

Please please please fix them both. They wont make you any money, just cause you a ton of heartache and debt!

OMG! I could just smack the person that sold you a female for breeding! If your male is too big you're thinking he is silky.. You could kill your female!

You and I know there are people you can speak too and try to educate until we are blue in the face....they are gonna do what they are going to do.

I don't want any predetermined decisions on this person. But, it appears that since they purchased the 2nd dog, the breeding thing has been on their mind. Just is scarey that they haven't a clue....
