Just wanted to say good morning. It seems we're always on here early in the morning posting away. It's how I start my day. I drop my daughter off at school, come on and post my little heart out, and then do the dreaded housework & gardening. I love reading your posts and seeing your girls. Have a great day.

THANK YOU !! I get up early too - the girls do their toad hunting (and other things) at the crack of dawn :D then I drink coffee and check out the site - I love seeing you on here early :)

I'm finishing up around my house today and then wishing I had STRONG tranquilizers for the next few days during this monster hurricane - but since I don't...I'm going to spend lots of time hugging the girls

I'm praying and thinking about everyone in Rita's path. You guys just be very careful and take care of each other. Still keeping my fingers crossed that it loses a lot of it's strength.

Villette - take care!!!!! I, too, hope Rita will lose some of her punch before she hits landfall, but even if she does, she looks like she is going to do some damage! Keep us posted on your plans!!!! You will be in my thoughts & prayers!! (I have a cousin in Matagorda - hope to hear from her today!)

You and the girls should head up my way, we're just north of Dallas. Sounds like the traffic coming this way is pretty much at a standstill and people are running out of gas though. What a mess! I'm just hoping it's not as bad as they're predicting. Let me know if you need a place to hide. Harley would love playing with your two dolls.;)

villette, i'm so scared for you too!! i haven't been able to stop thinking about this hurricane all day!! :( i have you in my prayers!!!

Villete I sure hope you and the girls are fine and intact after this hurricane. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Best of wishes. Hope you keep your calm and sense of humor through this rough moment. :thumbup: :)

I hope you are the burbs at least. I have family in Houston (they left) and Tomball, Spring etc. I'm worried for them. I wish you could leave. Good news tonight is it's turned and maybe will even go north of you - I hope. Don't want to wish it on anyone, but I wish it would just disappear! I live in S. Texas and I was ready to move for the weekend, but they've called off the evacuation down here. Are you sure you want to stay? Can't you call the city and get the bus to get you and your husband and the girls out? Or do you really feel safe enough there? I don't want to preach - it was looking like I wasn't going to be able to make my Dad leave when it was headed this way, so I understand that, just hoping you have options there. I just couldn't bear to think you didn't have a way out if you wanted to. Please let us know after "it" how you are. I'm thinking of you - I've enjoyed your posts so much, just feel like I kinda know you.

i agree!! i wish it would just go away all together!! :( or just turn around and go back out to sea, anything to keep it from making land fall. i am really praying for all of you!

Hi I know this post was for villette but I wanted to say my day starts off just like you as well,My kids get dropped at the bus stop,come home grab a coffee,food and Im on yorkietalk for a while then start my dreaded housework and gardening.The only difference is Im snoring while you are waking up.(time difference).
