Question about products and supplies?
 
I am just curious about what products and supplies you use on your yorkies? I have recently used a sample of Chris Christensen Day to Day and it worked wonders. Any ideas about where I can find this for the best price? I am also wondering what products work for your yorkies? What brushes and combs, oils, leave in conditioner? Any response is helpful and appreciated.

I've heard Chris Christensen's brushes are the best. I don't have one, but there are many on here who do. Cowboy Magic is good for tangles. Natures Miracle is great for potty accidents.

I was surprised to see a lot of the CC products at my local feed/agriculture store recently (shampoos & stuff - not combs & brushes). They also had CC's Ice on Ice which I use for a spray on conditioner. I looked at the price & remember thinking it would be a lot cheaper than ordering online & paying shipping. So, you might check your local stores like this.

I use Minksheen shampoo. I have 3 CC brushes (20mm gold pin, wood pin and soft boar bristle), 2 CC combs and 1 Maden brush. I usually use the Maden brush but CC is excellent, too. YT Mimimomo sells the Maden brush for a very reasonable price.

I use John Paul Pet Oatmeal shampoo, Tigi Pet Head Fears for Tears shampoo and Tigi Creme Rinse. Then CET Vanilla-Mint toothpaste and OraVet.

I use the CC brushes (the #20 Gold Series). They are great. Minksheen shampoo (You can get this from Westbrookdog.com). Cowboy Magic for mats. Biogroom's Creme Conditioner and their blow dry creme (ordered this from Showdog.com).

I use a prescription shampoo right now. I have various brushes but CANNOT live w/out the Chris Christenson buttercomb #006 - use it for mats and the two-sided sizes are great.

Oh yes!! This is one of the two CC combs I have. If I could only have ONE thing for their hair, it would be this comb! :thumbup:

I use minksheen shampoo, CC brushes, CC ice on ice, cowboy magic, and earthbath vanilla amond spritz

where do you get the CC brushes and the minksheen shampoo?

can they be found at petsmart or anywhere like that??

No, they aren't available in most local stores. The only place I know of to get CC combs & brushes is through their website, or maybe at dog shows. Chris Christensen Systems, Official Site, Internationally Renowned Canine Grooming Products Used By Top Show Dogs!

for those bully sticks are those the ones that smell better i've heard about, i have a few, what age is it best to give a pup those bully sticks, i don't want to give them to her if she's too young and will choke or have problems. aunt Karrie gave me some though

funny story side note: when Karrie gave me those, i was like "are these bully sticks" in less than a second, "Bailey" was at my side looking at me like, ok you said it, now give me one!! it was the cutest thing ever!

Yes, hers don't smell at all!! You don't really have to worry about choking with bully sticks until she chews it down small enough for her to choke on, so they are usually ok for puppies. I started giving them to Tate when I first brought him home at about 3 months. They are great for teething pups (they saved a lot of furniture and baseboards around my house).

You want to be careful if you buy bully sticks locally - if they aren't wrapped in plastic they could be covered in harmful bacterias.

my auntie orders them somewhere online, i'm sure they are the very best, she's a wonderful, protective yorkie mama, she's very good at getting the best thing for Bailey
