What to expect when going from 1 to 3 Tell me your stories. We are expanding from 1 male to two males and one female. Any info will be greatly appreciated.:D |
I also have 2 males and 1 female. Daisy, Rosco and Bo. Daisy and Bo are brother and sister 7mths. old. Rosco was a new years baby:) They definitely keep me on my toes. They all get along good, but sometimes Rosco want to play a little rough sometimes. The boys are 6lbs. Daisy is 2.4lbs. She holds her own with them though. When she has had enough she will run to me to protect her. They all sleep with us:D. There is never a dull moment with the 3 of them. They all follow me from room to room. I enjoy having 3 dogs, but for me 3 is plenty. I love them all. Enjoy your babies.:) |
Thank you so much for your reply...I am so anxious and I'm still thinking about it . |
My biggest fear is both males marking. My Chico is almost 2 and only marks outside and the new male is 4 and does no marking. The new ones are 4 and they have been mates since puppies. We just recently redecorated to big kid decor(now that the kids respect furniture:D)and I would be very upset if the dogs decide to mark them. |
What to expect... 3 times the kisses :kiss4: 3 times the lovin :hearts6: 3 times the laughs :biggrin8: 3 times the cuddles  3 times the hysterical antics :sidesplt: 3 times the worry :hands: 3 times the missing them when you're gone :dreaming: 3 times the fun :dogwalk: 3 times the mischief :secret: 3 times the cute :2puppy: 3 times the most wonderful feeling in the world My only advice is get everyone neutered/spayed. This will go a long way to having a happy household. |
I got the boys neutered before they started lifting the leg. They still squating thank goodness:D |

I have 3 boys and 3 girls...marking is something that will happen now since there is another male in the house, and if you don't get the female spayed, it will get worse when she is in heat. Thank heavens for belly bands! Mary |
