Does anyone give their dogs vitamins. im looking for a multi everyday dog vitamin and don't know what brand i want.

yes, Dr foster and smith have is called small dogs vitamins i give that kind to my fur babies here is the webside check them out

Do vitamins for dogs acrtually work? There is research indicating vitamins DO NOT WORK for humans; they pass right through the body and come out in one's urine.

i don't think that's. I take vitamins myself and i notice a difference in the way i look and feel when i do and do not take them. Its the brand of vitamin and how you are taking them that determines if your body uses them or not. There is research on everything one saying one thing the another saying another you have to not believe everything you read and do your own research and believe what you want to believe. but thanks everyone for answering my post. i think my dogs are lacking potassium they go crazy over bananas and i did see them eating their own poop EWW... that tells me their is something not right going on.

Piper gets glucosemin (not sure how to spell it) because her knee cap pops out of place. Has since she was about 10 months and the vet told me I could give her that to help it not bother her as much. He says she will have to have surgery in a year or two but thank dawg it will not cause her many problems when she is older due to her small size. THANK GOODNESS!!

For what it's worth, SEVERAL doctors and nutritionist have stated that vitamin supplements in humans just make expensive urine. Humans and animals get sufficient vitamins from the food eaten by both.

Some dogs just like to eat poop. My Zena is very fond of cat poop! Eewwe!

If you believe in vitamins, then so be it. They certainly will not hurt unless given too frequently. Good luck with them. Bananas are a great souce of potassium. I've yet to see a dog that did not like bananas however.

Since Tinky is only 5 months, I give her Nutrical for puppies, which i gel like, not the hard ones you could use as treats. I give her a pea-sized dose two times a day.
