Do you find yourself.... changing to suit your yorkie? I think I'm being slowly, quite effectively trained by the littler stinker! Remy comes to work every day, and at first used to lay on the floor next to my desk. Well, he migrated to the TOP of the desk. Now, because he tends to jump off (which is bad because it is too high) he now has his own "chair" pulled up to the edge so he can hop on and off at will. He is disarmingly cute, but I have the sneaking feeling I'm being manipulated!!! When do you draw the line between discipline and just giving in???? |
Ha ha! I have also had a similar migration at work. I draw the line at him sitting on my keyboard, but he hasn't given up hope. Sometimes I will put a blanket on my lap and let him lie there while I work. |
The other thing has been good for both of us; he gets really antsy if I don't take him outside to play in the park every day. AND he's not happy if we go to the park and I just sit there. I have to be walking / running around with him. You know how exercise programs tell you to get a buddy so you won't skip out on your daily regimen? They should tell you to get a yorkie. |
