You never know... How can your baby be perfectly fine one minute and then seem so out of it  ? This morning Ryle was his usual ray of sunshine and I leave and come back 2 hours later and he's not so sunny. You know how you can just look at them and you know something just isn't right :( then you start racking your brain trying to figure out what they could have possibly gotten into. Then you search your house, frantic to find any answers, knowing that you have taken every precaution to ensure their safety. I still can't figure out what is wrong with my baby. He just ate some grilled chicken and seemed great, till it was all gone....and he went back to just lying around, like he has no energy. I just can't stand the sad little look in those eyes. I am going to wait about another hour and if he is not any better I will take him to the vet before they close. Hopefully he is just having a lazy summer day. |
sorry to hear your baby isnt feeling well....could he have gotten into something he shouldnt have!? keep us posted..... |
I hope he feels better soon. |
Oh poor baby. How is he doing now? We are sending a little prayer for your little guy. Hope all is well Big hugs for little Ryle:ghug: |
I know what you mean! Any sadness or pain they have makes me soo sad, and I could just cry. Keep us updated! |
Ryle Update Well DH took Ryle in to the vet and they said they couldn't find anything wrong with him. They took an X-ray and lokked him over real good and sent him home. Even as I sit here typing this he is laying here beside me sleeping, but all of a sudden he makes a terrible little wimpering sound. The doctor sent home some medicine to calm his tummy. I still know something is not right. Please say a little prayer for my baby. I hope he wakes up in the morning back to normal. |
I hope Ryle gets to feeling better! Keep us updated |
Sending prayers for little Ryle :hands: |
Oh, poor Ryle. I hope he feels better soon. Please keep us posted. I'll keep him in my prayers.:hands: |
I don't know if this will make you feel any better, but when Gizmo was little he would have days when he seemed to have no energy and didn't want to eat anything, and the next day he would be fine. I'm sending positive thoughts and prayers for a quick return to his normal sunshiny self. :) |
I don't know how old Ryle is, but if he's still young like Judy in Waco said, they sometimes just have "off" days. I understand your worries, I do the same with my kids and I just want to curl up with them and let the world go by without us until they are feeling better. Hope he's back to his normal self today. |
How is Ryle today? :) |
I hope your dog is feeling better today. |
I hope he's feeling better today. You did the right thing by taking him to the vet. I know I took Roxie in this week too for she gave me a scare. I was crying and so upset thinking the absolute worst. Anyway I really think they have off days just like we do. Just like one day we feel fine and the next morning we wake up and just don't want to do a thing but not really sick. Hasn't it been pretty hot down in Texas? My sons g/f is from Austin and I guess her Mom said it's been scorching hot for several days now. This has to take its tole on animals even if they are inside most of the time. I hope you keep us posted about him. |
Sorry for the late update but it's been one of those days. Well Ryle is still the same as yesterday unfortunatly. I am returning to the vet in the morning. I just can't figure this out, he lays around all day long, but if he hears the microwave (where I heat up his chicken) he is full of energy and jumping on my leg. But then afterwards he goes back to blah. I am going to request blood work tomorrow, because I want some answers. I guess you tend to take it for granted when they are chasing you all over the place, greeting you when you get home like they haven't seen you in ages. I can't wait for him to be his old self again. Wish us luck tomorrow. Prayers are always appreciated. |
