A Lost little soul
 
So I am in search for Thor's parents. I just want to see pictures of them. I know that they are registered with CKC and I have their names Rhinestone Cowboy, and Raspe Berry Delight and I have their registration numbers. I got him as a gift for my birthday. My mom didn't see his parents because she got him from a guy who's 'friend' breed the dogs. The more I think about where he came from, the more things feel sketchy to me. :confused: The address on his certificate is a P.O Box instead of a real address. That just makes me weirded out because maybe they don't want people to know where they live so they don't see anything 'bad'. :thumbdown I also have the breeders ID number. Does anyone have good ideas of how I could track pictures of his parents down? Thanks!

Does CKC stand for Continental Kennel Club?

Have you tried to get info from them?

Yes thanks I have looked there. Unless I am totally over looking something I couldn't find any info on his breeder, mother, father, etc.

Is membership possibly required in order to obtain that sort of info?

Perhaps a phone call would yield some answers????? :)

I found a site online a while back where you email someone with all those numbers and they research it for free and tell you everything they find. I'll see if I can find the link for you. Give me a little while as my mailbox is full from past junk and YT emails(not junk) :D

I'd LOVE an AKC equivilent of this! I have Chewey's info, and I also suspect now that the breeder abused him. He came at 4.5 months old already knowing the word "no." and no other word. Today I found out that he has some wierd associations with the clicker, (he's terrified of it...), and he's scared of leather leashes and belts. Found that out this morning when I went to leash him with his new leash and he ran away.

As a test, I raised my hand to him as if to strike. Nothing. Just looking at me and smiling. Raised a rolled up magazine and swung it at him dramatically...nothing. Raised the leather strap...he shied away into a corner with his tail tucked.

Yea its most deff. Continental because the guy gave us the form that spells it out. Oh and I don't think that he was abused, I just believe that the people are not legitimate breeders and I think they are trying to make quick money because of the P.O Box and because of how they breed the dogs in one city and bring them to a friends house here to sell, and becuase they told us Thor would be 4-7lbs, no bigger! And I tell you I got a hefty little man, 9lbs :love: !!...and that's at 6mos.
I am sorry to hear about you baby Hamoth. At least he has a loving home to be in forever now!
