Is there a way to keep hair out of eye without cutting hair and puting hair bow I have a boy and his eyebrows are starting to get in his eyes. This is also why the bow is a no no. I dont want to go to get him groomed just to get his eyebrows cut. |
You can just band it up with no bow. |
I have a girl but for "every day" I use pony-tail holders. I bought the little bitty ones for babies. They work really well and won't break the hair. Even if she has a bow in, I take it out at night and use the pony-tail holder for sleeping. The come in lots of colors. For a boy you could get the primary colors and he would still look "manly".:) |
I have 2 yorkies & they have puppy cuts so their hair is short. We groom them at home, and when their hair starts to get in their eyes but it's not time for a whole body cut, we just trim up the long hairs. The hair on the tops of their heads is combed back & doesn't get in the way of their vision since it's shorter, and we trim their eyebrows & any hair underneath their eyes & along/on their nose that is getting in the way of their vision. Just be careful when you cut hair around their face because they can be jumpy (it's a 2 person job at our house) - good luck! |
I band Roxy's for everyday use. I use clear latex free bands (the kind used for braiding) and they dont break the hair (or look fem.) |
3 Attachment(s) I have a boy and I put his hair up in a clear elastic to keep it out of his eyes. I think he looks cuter with his hair up than down. With yorkies, it doesn't matter if they are a boy or girl... they are allowed to wear their hair up! Couver even wears bows on special occasions :animal36 |

The thing is that munchie hair is not even that long and i see pictures on here with yorkies who hair is way longer and his hair and it does not look bushy and the hair is not in thier eye. |
Roxie is going thru this phase at the moment. I have plenty for a ponytail on top but the stuff just above her eyes is getting long. Trying to decide to be patient and let that grow up to the ponytail or keep it trimmed. In the mean time it drives me crazy not being able to see her eyes. |
