Cleaning products help
 
I have heard that some mopping solutions can be dangerous. I use pinesol currently, but and expecting to get a puppy soon. and want to know what is the best for mopping floors?

Vinegar and water works well. The vinegar smell goes away after it dries. It also helps disinfect.

Vinegar also helps kill any scent of an accident so they won't go back to that spot.

I use white vinegar and hot water on my floors.

I just bought one of the steam mops. It can yesterday so I haven't used it yet but you just use water and alittle ecapliptis oil in it. Hope it works great because I don't like using alot of chemicals either. The water and vinager would be better than anything else I would think.

I have a Shark steamp mop and love it!!! I just use plain water and it is great. The steam both cleans and disinfects so you don't have to worry about anything and the floor is almost dry immediately.

I got mine from the infomercial, but Target also carries them!!!!
