I am getting a Yorkie
 
My first Yorkie. She weighs 3 lbs and full grown. Very beautiful and healthy. Can't wait to get her. Will be picking her up in August.

Congratulations!! Is the baby fully grown now? How old? Why do you have to wait until August? Can't wait to see pictures of your baby. You must be so excited.

She is 2 yrs and I am buying her from a member here. I am picking her up in August because I am making a couple payments on her.

Congratulations! I'll bet you are excited! Nothing like having a Yorkie in the family! Now you have a while to read up on them. There is a wealth of information on these forums! Check out the stickies for important info. Can't wait to see her pics! Let us know who the breeder is if you two decide to make it public!

I can't wait to spoil her. I bought a pink harness and leash for walks. I am anxious to dress her up and grow her hair out. I know that it will take grooming her everyday to grow it out but that is fine with me. I have a Samoyed and she requires frequent grooming and no problems there.

Thank you all for your support. Very much appreciated. Like I said I will be picking her up next month. I am 46 yrs and always wanted a lap dog and the most popular ones I see are Yorkshire Terriers and after reading about them, I decided to get one for myself and a really nice breeder came along and offered me her older girl. Older has it's advantages. Puppy pad training and coming out of it.

I will post some pictures of her soon.

To show you how excited I am, I bought her a halter with leash for her and it's pink of course

I will talk to the breeder to see if it is ok to identify her.

Yes...as a matter of fact the Yorkie is from ExoticYorkies. I sent her a deposit and I am so excited about picking her up. Hopefully the first part of August which is the plan.

ExoticYorkies breeds some beautiful puppies and looking at Niyah's pictures she is gorgeous. Really looking forward to spoiling her and dressing her up, taking her with me everywhere dogs are allowed to go including a small trip to see my family!

After thinking about it, I am thinking of keeping the name her owner gave her. Princess Niyah. I always wanted to name a dog Chloe and I never realized how hard it is to give you dog a forever name. There are so many beautiful names out there but Niyah sounds beautiful.

She is a very beautiful yorkie. I made a thread for grooming yorkies. You can go check it out if you need some help on grooming her.
