advice wOuld be GREAT! Hey Eveyone!! So hubby is moving the family!! We are moving the weekend of the 18th to an apt..A bigger one at that!! Anyways the apt has carpet!! Dun Dun Dun we have tile at the place we are in now..The only 2 places that have tile is the kitchen and bathroom....Peanut being a yorkie he is not potty trained 100%..He still has boo boo's. Anyways there is this little tiny closet in the living room area that hubby wants to set up peanut pee pad in there and put like a shower curtin on the bottom...This closet is very small!! I dont even know why they made it lol its not even big enough to stand in! But it is perfect for little peanut =) My question is when we are not home should I get a baby gate and trap him in the kitchen with a pad or just shut all the doors so he will only have the living room area?? Just so peanut gets use to the new place....Anyways what do you guys think??:D |
I would confine him to a small area untill you know hes not gonna go on the carpet |

I think thats a good idea... |
Yes, confining to a small space. I still do that with my Roscoe. After 2 weeks, I still don't trust him enough to have run of the house. |

Yeah I think that is what I am going to do =) Just when we are not home shut the doors..Hubby and I need to watch him like a hawk! I want him to be able to be 100% potty trained lol at 2 years he should be!! He still goes on the bathroom rugs some times...but I tell hubby over and over to keep the doors shut bc when they are shut he goes on his pp pad!! ergh men!!:aimeeyork |
I agree with the others. I think he might be afraid of the shower curtain. |
