puppy mill a puppy mill was raided in dana point california and a whole bunch of puppies are being put up for adoption (i think most of them are pomeranian) i know this is a yorkie site, i jsut wanted to say that THEY CAN BE ANYWHERE..... dana point is a lovely city and i wouldnt think puppy mill in that area was a possibility.... all those poor babies will hopefully get a home that loves them :) |
I hope they all find good homes! How many Yorkies did that puppy mill house? |
i dunno......... there were a lot of dog though..... a ridiculous amount, i dunno how in the world they actually got away with it for so long (they had to have been at it a while they had so many dogs) |
These two men originally had 40 puppies in their garage and were selling them for up to $7,000 to people on the internet and the pups were sick. Many died after being sold. They were cited by cops when the operation was in the garage, then they told the authorities that they closed down, all they did was move the pups upstairs to the attic. Anyone familiar with SOCAL homes know that the attics are little more than a glorified crawl space. Unheated, unventilated. They had 37 live pups and two dead ones in a freezer. Houses are sooooooo close in SOCAL due to the cost of real estate and land to build, that there is no way the neighbors could have not known something was going on. I called the Coastal Animal Services where the pups are, they will be up for adoption shortly, anyone interested should type in the name of the place Coastal Animal Services, and info is being posted. Good opportunity to provide some sweet pups with a good home, and get a purebred pup. The are all Poms |
are you in socal millicoralles???? |
Hey, you never know. there was a guy who kept a 400 lb bengal tiger and an alligator in his 4th floor apartment. he lived in a harlem housing project. How didn't anyone notice?! Well, except for some neighbors who complained about "strong smell of urine." |
