is there a Collar/harness small enough for a tiny baby? I purchased a couple of cat collars with bells on them for Bailey for when he is walking around the house, I wanted to know where he was, but the collars, even adjusted to the smallest size, just slips right off his little neck. Also the tiny harness I bought him is to big! Bailey is tiny, the vet said he is small boned. Does anyone know where I can purchase smaller then average harnesses etc? Thanks. |
Darlene I bought a very small harness for my Brody from Paw Palace it is a mesh harness and they come in a lot of colors and sizes 1-4. Also GW little has very small collars. Hope this helps. PM me with any questions.:) |

I make Dupioni Silk Step-In harnesses and collars using the measurements you provide and I guarantee that the harness WILL fit or I will make whatever adjustments are necessary. |

When Myah was super tiny...before I got the above harness...I went to the pet store and got a ferret harness. It was ok...but have velcro on it and Myah freaks out when she hears the velcro. The silk step-in harnesses are the way to go. |
collar gosh i cant imagine putting a collar on my xtra teeny yorkies neck my babies are to small to even think about putting a leash on them they are almost 4 months and extra small still their mom is tiny and dad is even tinier only 3 lbs my phantom looks like he is gona maybe grow to 2 lbs and ferrari probably 2 and 1/2 goodluck how big is he going to be |
1 Attachment(s) I had issues finding harnesses for mine when they were tiny babies. I did end up using some that probably weren't the greatest choice as they aren't a step in style by lil' pals harness (in pic, from petco) as well as a ferret harness which they also carry at pet supply stores. I also ended up having one custom made from a member here on YT (I wish I could remember who it was) and It was adjustable enough where I still am able to use it.. not to mention it is as cute as can be |
Chewie is 11 weeks old and he weight 2 pounds at the moment. I got him the XS anti-pull mesh harness at wal-mart. It's a little big at the moment but still stays on when I have to go somewhere with him. The harness is padded and looks very comfortable. I like them because I just slip it over his head and I don't have to deal with the tiny snaps some other harnesses have. I also have one for my 5 lbs toy poodle. Here is the wal-mart link : Walmart.com: Yuppie Puppy: Yuppie Puppy: Yuppie Puppy: Yuppie Puppy: Anti Pull Toy Harness, 1 ct: Pets Unfortunatly you can't see the harness too well but with wal-mart you can always return it if it's not what you like. |

Thanks Everyone! I have one coming in the mail probably this week, if that one doesn`t fit I`ll have to get one from a YT vendor and have it custom fit, Bailey is so petite, but he is only 3 months old. |
