I know this sounds dumb... I just got a new baby and my husband says two dogs in bed is too many. The problem is my 10 month old yorkie has been sleeping in our bed, right up next to me for 6 months now. He is very attached to me. I would like for both dogs to sleep in the same place. If I don't let Sarge in the bed he is going to be crushed. Sould I just put both of them in another room with a comfy place to sleep and keep the door closed? The dumb part is I know Sarge is going to be so upset. Am I being cruel to move him or just worrying too much. Has anyone else had this problem----anybody have ANY ideas how to handle it? Thanks!!!!! :animal-pa Cathy, mom to Sargeant and Lexi :animal-pa |
Get a bigger bed :-) No seriously, since the baby is new, maybe it would be best to have the new little one in her own place for now and ease your husband into the idea of having 2 dogs in the bed. Chip and Smokey sleep with us on our double bed and even though it's a tight squeeze sometimes, we make it work. |
