Hair gets wet after walks Every morning I take my Kelsey potty before I leave for work. The grass is full of dew and is very wet...by the time we get back inside the poor thing looks soaked! I just dry her off with a towel and let her air dry mostly....but I just dont think this is sanitary. I dont want to give her full bath, but is there any other alternatives or anything that would make more sense? lol It's kind of a pain to have to do this every time we go for a walk. Sorry if i sound annoying..just wondering if there's anything ya'll do that could help me. :p |
maybe try the little doggie shoes....i've never tried them but they are cute as can be :) i've seen some at target and petsmart. |
Yeah she's kinda skittish when it comes to certain clothes and I could just forget putting shoes on her..she'd have a fit. Im trying to put a diaper on her now for her (she's in heat) and she gets SUPER depressed when I put that on! lol...And plus her whole leg(s) get wet, not just her feet. |
I know just what you mean, our girls "soak" up the morning dew, like little sponges. The only thing I've found to do, was keep a chamois at the door, blot most of the water out of their legs and feet, then, blow dry. The morning dew is bad enough, but oh boy, once the snow falls......... |
haha..yeah I dont have to worry about snow. I live in Florida...Kelsey and I have never seen snow :D Thanks for the advice. |
You can clean her up with baby wipes and dry her with a towel. |
Oh, no snow? Well, you haven't seen a wet dog until they've come in from a fresh fallen snow at 7 in the morning. :D It clings to them, like feathers. And of, course, they're in full coat, so I spend a half hour before I even get coffee. We know who runs our house. :) |
