Another disgusting puppy mill store-WENTZ CANINE Has anyone ever gone into wentz canine in fogelsville, pa? Well, last night we did, it was so disgusting, the smell was so bad you had to cover your face and hold your nose. The cages were so bad, it did not look like they were cleaned for days. Feces covering the bottom of the cages. We never go into the these stores, but we are traveling for a few days and we were staying t the hotel right next to the strip mall that had this store. Little pug dog, tiny baby yorkie and many more that are victims to this store owner. I only wish there was a way to close this joint down. It bothered me so much that i woke up at 3:30 in the morning thinking about those poor defenseless babies and did not get back to sleep for 2 hours. I am so mad and upset that these people get away with this. Sorry for venting, but i know you guys understand the frustration with these puppy mill breeders and the stores that are allowed to sell them |
wow...that is sooo sad. I had a friend that owned a pet store and she did sell animals and I remember her cleaning those cages every morning and afternoon. She would keep the feces and urine cleaned up too. She said she didn't want to be known for not taking care of her animals. On Christmas Eve she didn't want her puppies to be in a cage on Christmas and called up a few of her personal friends and we puppy sat on Christmas.... we had 3 little fur babies.... it was an awesome morning. Too bad more places cant be like that.... maybe you can report it to the better business beuro. |
My bf and I went into a pet shop in Riverside once. We weren't looking to buy a pet, we were just bored and decided to go in and waste some time. It was a totally ghetto store, totally stunk. All the dogs looked dirty, none of them even looked as if they had energy to bark. We saw a yorkie in a corner cage and went to go look at it. He had his back turned to us, and I said oh man I can't see his face. We tapped lightly on the glass to get him to look at us. He turned his head and we both went "ugh!" he looked so sickly, his eyes had so many boogers on it, it face was all crusty. It was so sad. We turned and got the hell out of there. |
i did a google search for reviews on the place and they are not good. people said how filthy and gross the place is and they are still surprised they are still open. i saw the owner, like the reviews said, and yes he was arrogant , sitting in his chair , reading with the filthy stench around him. it was so bad and i feel so sorry for the puppies. |
