Toby's gone!!!! OMG.... i almost had a heart attack when i came home today. . . first off, i put my key in the lock and go to turn it, and there is NO CLICK.... the door was UNLOCKED..(no biggy.... people forget to lock doors and i guess when my fiance left he forgot as well) .. and then i go inside and get all my laundrey upstairs and i go to let the animals out of the bedroom..... mina came crying out as usual but oh my god, where the hell did toby go???? he is usually ALL OVER ME when i get home... i call him and there is no answer, i shake the treat box and there is NO TOBY  i was almost histerical by this point. I looked under the bed but i COULDNT FIND HIM.... After getting a flashlight and taking a closer look under the bed i figured out that he WAS under the bed and apparantly he was in "pout mode" because i didnt bring him with me to "gramma and grampas".... he remained under there and didnt come out for a while. |

Oh wow!! I was so scared!! He was just mad at mommy huh? :( |
Thank goodness Toby is still with you! I know that feeling when they disappear out of site. I have misplaced Maddie a few times in the house...when no doors have been opened for her to escape...and I still freak out, running from room to room. Once I found her in the bathroom cabinet where I keep towels. She'd jumped in there when the door was open and I closed it not knowing she was in there. LOL |
Oh, WHEW! Better he pout than not be home. Wow, that is scary, their feelings really can get hurt, eh? Poor guy, I hope you spoiled him well after he came outta hiding! :) |
Man, don't scare us like that! I was ready to head over to California to help search for the dog nappers...I am glad he was only sulking under the bed. Poor little guy! Hope his feelings have mended... |
Toby, dont do that to mommy! She posted to all of us about you and you scared us so bad. Be a good boy from now on. Kisses from your YT friends, Yoda and Becky :D |
Oh man!!! I would have flipped!!! your right he was getting you back for leaving him behind.... |
I know it's not funny, but yet it is! Aren't they just like KIDS??? Pouting when they don't get their way?? I am SO happy that Toby was fine....little stinker! lol |
OMG! i would've been so scared! |
I know you where panic stricken.... I have had this happen to me before, to where my heart has fallen out of my chest and tear streaming down my face.... :( My scarest was when we were still in MI and a tornado popped up out of no where. I was raising Mini Pins then, I screamed to the kids to get in the crawl space and I was trying to close the french doors in my living room to no avail the wind were tremendous. The rain was pouring in, I went to make sure the kids had made it to the crawl space (which they had) and turned my attention to the dogs. This is all happening within seconds mind you. Everyone was in the house or to my lastest memory they were. I found everyone but Shania  . By this time the tornado had moved on the kids were back on the main floor with me and we began a search party. To make a long story short, Two hour later we found her in the laundry room, under a pile of clothes, just sleeping away... I knew she heard me calling her for hours.... These findings are bitter-sweet. And the Lord was looking out for are whole family that day.... :p |
That has to be the most terrible feeling in the world. Gwen hides all the time, and I get so upset that I have the whole household searching for her. |
