Crazy after bath!!! So today was bath day for the little ones. As soon as it's over with, they run like crazy animals through the house round and round. Even lazy CoCo who never runs for anything (well except a treat)!! Does anyone else's do the same? |
My first Yorkie did the same thing. The only thing was, I had to catch him with a treat quickly, because he usually needed to tinkle by the time I finished brushing him out.:aimeeyork:aimeeyork:aimeeyork |
haha!! I couldn't even imagine having more than 1 run around like Mazee does-that has to be too funny to watch. We usually call it her "crackhead runs" as she zooms thru the house, up on and rubbing on the loveseat and couch. What usually cracks us up is how she will be just running as fast as she can then she stops and barks at me (never the hubs) and keeps barking at me. Hubby says that is her complaining to me that she had to have a bath, which she is not a fan of. LOL I don't even blowdry Mazee, just let her air dry,doesn't take long when you are running at warp speed!! LOL |
My little girl do the same thing after her bath, she run up and down the hall and jump from couch to couch, and on and off the bed. Its good t hear she is not the only one, I was starting to think she was loosing it LOL |
This is soo funny! I think all our babies do it. As soon as Uni gets out of the bathtub I take her directly to the towel to blowdry her. She now sits nicely and lets me dry her, but when she was a baby, on man! She would rub her face in the carpet, digging at the carpet, flipping around, running while her face was still on the carpet! The first time she did it I freaked out! I thought I got too much water in her nose or something! Then come to see on youtube that some dogs do that on the concrete after a swim!!! |
Haha its soo adorable isn't it? Mine go absolutely nut as soon as I finish blow drying them, although Charlie right away tries to mount Nana haha, he probably thinks she looks beautiful. :D |

He does it every time. We refer to his method of drying off, as his "spin cycle". |

Bella Mia does the same thing especially the face down on the carpet while running at warp speeds then she tosses helself on the carpet and goes the other way. What is even funnier is when the sprinklers come on while she is out to tinkle and she "attacks" the water from the automatic sprinklers barking and attacking and running around on the wet grass to dry off her face and then repeat until mommy can catch her. Commands are NOT obeyed during this time AT ALL :confused:. Quite hilarious for everyone but me:eek: |

HAHA....Bandit does the same exact thing. After he's been sufficiently dried off and warmed up in a towel he'll jump out and face plant in the carpet and rub his face and body along the couch/bed/carpet until he's dry. It's good to know he's not alone. I like that someone called it the "spin-dry" cycle:) |
My boys zoom around at full speed too, lol, I love it. Then also, Wylie *must* go up onto our sofa, roll around, and knock as many pillows as possible off the sofa. Then he has to rub up against a square wicker container we have on the floor. So funny. |
Ya most of my dogs also do that .. they run and rub them self crazy on sofas,pet bed, walls... lol craziness... :rolleyes: |
