Laci is getting spayed today :( Please say a prayer for Laci today, she is getting spayed. I just got back from dropping her off and my heart is broken.... I hope that she is okay , they wanted to keep her overnight but since they close at 7pm and no one will be there I asked if I can pick her up at closing... I would rather her be home with me. We have an emergency vet 2 minutes away that is open 24 hours so Id rather have her here... I miss her so much already... Im a wreck!! Please keep her in your prayers that she does well with surgery and is home quickly!! |
Prayers for Laci and for you. :hands: She will do wonderfully and will be back with you before you know it. I did the same thing when Rory was spayed...why would I leave her alone overnight with no supervision...that never really made sense to me. |
Prayers, hugs and good thoughts coming your way. I think you made the right decision about bringing her home, too. If they aren't being monitored at the vet's overnight then what good is it for them to be there? At least at home you'll be able to keep an eye on her, although I'm sure she'll be just fine and will be groggy and just sleep through the night. Let us know when you hear she is out of surgery. |
I will definitely keep Laci in my prayers today. I know exactly how you feel and I wish I knew words that would help you. But, you're doing what a momma's supposed to do - worrying about her baby. I really think you're doing the right thing bringing her home with you tonight. She'll feel better knowing you're there with her. Please let us know how things went once you hear from the doctor!! |

about Laci As Long as she is healthy,you dont have anything to worry about. I had April done at 7 months and she did great.I was awreck too, I think its a normal instinict wirh us, my little girl wasdone micro. I brought her home that evening and she was a little sleep,but the next day, I couldn;t hold her down, she cant even see her scar |
Thank you everyone, Laci is having Laser surgery its 100.00 more but well worth it, I guess from what they say it is less evasive with out to much pain... Im just a wreck because I want her home... I miss her already!! She looked soo sad when I left her there! I did bring her toy and one of her beds... My poor baby... |

The Vet just called and Laci made it through surgery just fine, she is actually standing up looking around. They said she is a bit drugged up and they wont let her come home till 7 pm but she is doing well. Thank you God!! I cant wait to go and get her:D |

Yeah :-) I know how worried you were (as was I)..... Emerson is very happy to hear Laci made out well..... I think they were confused not seeing her today :-) |
