Well, I NEVER call Jackson by his middle name, but I decided to make it unofficially
Jackson Cole! I thought it sounded cute ;)

But in real life, I call him Action Jackson a bit.

if giving a dog a middle name is silly, then I plead guilty. LOL
I have two yorkies -Preston Marsh and Paisley Parker
a basset - Baily Boo
and a min pin mix - Jefe
As you can see, Jefe is the only one without a middle name. There is a bit of a story about his name. I am not of hispanic decent, but my brother in law is.
My BIL and sister had a rotweiller for years named
Jefe (jefe, -a masculine or feminine noun
1. boss (persona al mando); manager (de empresa); leader (líder); chief)He passed away of pancreatic cancer just a few months before our Jefe was born. When our Jefe was born, he looked like a little miniature Jefe. I told my sister that, and she agreed, and the name kind of stuck. He DOES think he is the chief or boss. LOL Anyway, that is why he is the only one with no middle name. It was a tribute to my sister's big ole loveable guy.

When I got Jayla she had no middle name at first. Then on a walk one day, when I'd had her a month or two, it occurred to me that her middle name is: Pea. Like a Sweet Pea. So her registered name is Jayla Pea Tyler. Now I call her "The Pea" most of the time.

When I got Kia, I automatically gave her a middle name to honor my daughter's deceased best friend who died in a car accident at age 24. That made Kia Serena Tyler and that is her registered name.

They're both AKC.

Tater had this crazy silvery white hair on top of his head when he was a pup and I got him and it reminded of Einstein. I wanted to name him that, but somehow the name Tater won me over so he became Tater Einstein. So though it is a crazy middle name and his head is now gold so it no longer makes sense, I love it!

I took my little girls middle name which is Katelynn and broke in down into two names for one of my yorkie girls. Her name is Katie Lynn. I thought is was cute!! LOL

Well my puppy is only 4 weeks old so I don't have her yet but I'm naming her Emma Lou! I don't think middle names are silly at all! Even my chinchilla has a middle name! lol

What great names these Yorkies have!! :D

My Rat Terrier was Sadie Mae Ann Louise. And yes, I can understand why people think you're crazy to give your dog a middle name...people thought I was crazy with Sadie's name. But you see she was a native Texan, and everyone knows Texans have more then one name. :p And although she went by Sadie most of the time, let me tell you when I said the whole name she came running with her bum tucked and her ears down and slid to a stop at my feet on her back, because she knew she was in deep doo-doo. :D

Then there was Annie B, no name to go with the B, just Annie B.
And now there's Gracie Ruth. Again, people are always questioning me about the odd middle name, but that's what came to me one day and that's what stuck.

Yogi and Boo don't have official middle names, but I often say Yogi Bear and Boo-Boo.
