Schatzie allows starvation!! We arrived to the campground Thursday of this week....Typical food bowl goes down in the trailer filled with kibble. I tell my husband, "ok, no way Annabelle (Schnauzer) receives treats as it seems she has not been eating her kibble". Well, Come Saturday night (3 days later) we are all watching a movie in our trailer. Schatzie is all curled up sweetly by my side, Annabelle on the bed resting. Well, guessing Annabelle was getting hungry so she jumped down off the bed and walked on over to the kibble bowl for a bite. :animal36 Suddenly, Schatzie jumps up and off the couch, leaps/bounds and runs over to the kibble food bowl attacking Annabelle. So....Annabelle hasn't been a picky eater all these days/weeks, she just hasn't been able to get any cuz Schatzie has refused to share, ugh! Now how rude is that??? How can something so sweet and cute be so darn selfish? So, the new plan is to allow Annabelle to eat by herself first, then Schatzie eats. Life, it's just so not fair to the underdog!!! |
That little stinker :p Bentley gets possessive over his food sometimes too....go figure  |
Sneaky Schatzie! Pippa tries to snatch Scout's treats when we are training together! I have to isolate her as well. Greenies are another thing she steals. I give them both a greenie, and Pippa takes hers and "buries" it in the couch cushions, then takes Scout's over to the love seat that he's too short to jump on and chew on it. Poor Scout just puts his paws up there and peeks at her chewing on his treat! |
Rudy is my food hog. When ever I fill the bowls he gaurds them and will growls at them like saying I will let you eat some. They just look at him and go eat any way. He only does it when I fill the bowls up. They have food down all the time. |
Wait a minute, Schatzie is the SMALLER of the two? Mighty feisty, that one! ;) |
Poor Annabell!! Teddy's siblings here can relate to how she is feeling because their spoiled brat brother is the same way if not even worse. If one of them so much as sniffs the air that his food is in he has a fit, but then when they eat it's like a whole different story he actually struts over to them while they are eating and barks until they let him have it. Once they leave he just moves on to his next victim. Teddy is now learning what BE NICE means because with 4 dogs I can't tolerate any of them being food agressive. |
ALL MINE ALL MINE lol awwwww she sweet NO matter what :D Mine are the oposite to Schatzie, they seem to tell their yorkie friends and Dounia our lab that this is a cheap hotel, its all for free - they give their food away, probably in the hope that daddy serves them with something else! |
