What do you think? 1 Attachment(s) I'm thinking of acquiring this little boy when he's of age, he's 7 weeks now. Yes or no? |
Ahhh he's precious . as long as he's coming from a reputable breeder , and a health gaurentee, I'd say go for it  |
He's precious! Do you have more details? |
He weighs 1 lb 11 oz and is fiesty, just the way I like'em! I have another baby from this breeder. I think he looks like a "Bandit" with the little mask of black. |
he is beautiful!!!!!!!! That dark gold around his nose will be stunning when he matures. |
That is one cute puppy. I say get him!!!:D |

Really check the puppy over, he should be square, as long as he is high. Look at the ear set (hard to do on puppies as they can rearrange them! Really!) Check the length of his legs, don't want the short stubby ones (unless you don't plan to breed or show and that is the look you like) and you don't want too long of ones either. Remember the squareness. Look at his bite. There are some pictures online if you need to see where the bite should hit when the mouth closes. Make sure he does not have too much wetness around the eyes. Some puppies have a condition where the hair around the eyes grows the wrong way and it makes them tear more than usual. Check how clean they are keeping him. Then the all important -- personality! Make sure he is compatible with what you are looking for in a puppy. I am just hitting some highlights and hope others add to the list. So much to consider when picking a puppy! And then sometimes they just pick you! |
No don't get him! Let me have him lol He is very cute |

I want him! I want him!:aimeeyork:aimeeyork:aimeeyork |
He's a cutie, no doubt, but I have a different way of choosing a puppy. I don't go by what the puppy looks like, I find a breeder who has a breeding program that I respect. I look for one who breeds to standard and follows the ethics of the mother club for yorkies, the YTCA. I look for one who understands the value of health screening and knowing the lines and pedigrees of her dogs. I want a breeder who I can trust and who cares where her dogs are placed, and isn't adding to the ever increasing killing in shelters because she insists upon taking a dog back, if you no longer want it or can care for it. I have a whole list of desires in a breeder, and I found one that met my needs. So pretty much any offspring she produces, is ok with me. I believe in supporting good breeding, not just buying cute dogs. Now if I were to breed or show, I would also want a dog from a breeder such as this, and hopefully she would allow me to have one with show potential, if I ever met her standards. Best of luck! |
Cute! |
