Mister Toby likes somethings and others, not so much ! If I put anything on him that he really doesn't care for he will instantly go to the door ! If he gets outside he knows his good buddy Crash (hound mix) will be sure to take it off for him !! |
Jemma hates anything that she has to put her arms thru, like sweaters. A dress is OK, although she will still remove them. In my pictures there is 2 pictures of Jemma showing just HOW much she loves sweaters, lol |
As far as bows go she is fine now but she used to tear them out. I think growing into an adult helps with that. Ahe also used to hate getting dressed up but she outgrew it. She knows that a dress means she gets to go bye bye and a t-shirt means she gets to get warmer and a coat means she gets to go outside. She gets excited when she sees me coming with the cloths. Skeeter, on the other hand, runs and hides no matter what is in my hand. He hates clothing of all kind and will walk sideways after I put it on him. It is so funny! He does get used to it after a while but still sulks. LOL |
thanks for sharing guys. i just hope lily will let me put her in bows and dresses occassionally .i have bought so much stuff for her before i even got her .i just had this dream i guess of little girl dress up. thats the whole reason i got a girl pup. my hubby dont want me to dress her at all he found my dresses and stuff and said no way are you putting those on her its demeaning she is a dog by nature and has pride. i told him to mind his buisness and get his own dog maybe a BULLDOG would suit him lol. |
:) My dh is soooo wrapped around Adie's little paw that I could spend a fortune on clothes for her and he wouldn't care. He would just laugh and talk about how cute or pretty the dress or shirt is. When we went to Dog days he helped pick out her outfit and actually gave it some considerably thought! LOL |

[QUOTE=LilMissy;2679842] She wasn't always that way though. I was very patient with her. I'd do her hair, she'd take it out, I'd redo it, she'd take it out, I'd redo it....finally she gave up :p [QUOTE] So is this the key? To just sit there and keep putting it back in? Of course, you have to chase them all over the house, under chairs etc. to get it back in every time? LOL |
