Bailey is home!!!! Omg, He is soo tiny, I need to fatten him up. I took him out to the car and cleaned him up with some baby wipes, he started licking my fingers and jumpmig on my hand. I gave im some corn syrup ( couldn't find Nutracal) and he kept eating it, I was afraid he would get a tummy ache from it. I gave him a bath as soon as I got him home, and took a couple of pics..he was following me around the kitchen..He is so tiny, I've never had a puppy so small and fragile looking. He is in his kennel napping now. Here are a few pics after his bath. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/alb...ictureid=59326 |

What a cutie pie! :animal-pa |
He's precious! Make sure he eats small amounts often;) When they're that young and tiny, they have a hard time regulating their own body temperature as well, so keeping him warm is super important too! What a doll baby! |
He's lovely! |
Congrats He is sooooooooooo cute... Molly weighed 1lb 5oz when I first brought her home. You learn to shuffle your feet real fast*L* She even slept with me from day 1... I never owned a puppy before but wouldn't trade one day since I have had her... Have fun and keep us up dated.. Diana and Molly |
What a little doll. Just feed small frequent meals and he should be fine. They do learn pretty quick to star away from your feet, I try and walk slow when they are following me around. |
HOORAY!!!!!:D I was wondering if he came home today. I found some nutrical at Petsmart yesterday and picked some up. Can't wait to see more pictures!!! Congratulations. I was curious what food you decided to feed lil Bailey? Of course I won't get my girl till July but trying to get a few things before her arrival. |
Im so glad he is now home with you, as for the size , isn't it hard to get used to. When my border collie was a pup she was 4x the size of Tia. Bailey is beautiful.:D |
Congratulations!!! He's soooo cute!!! So happy for you. Hope to see tons of pictures of this sweetie as he grows :D I can understand your fear of his small size, but just be careful where everyone steps when he's out, frequent feedings and keeping him warm will help tons. Petsmart had this little stuffed animal that warms up to help keep the little babies warm. I think it could be put in the microwave to heat it or something. And was around $15. Or get a little blanket or sweater for him will help too. Congrats again!!!:p |
Thank you All!!! He sure likes to sleep, he will get up and have some water, a little food and then walk back in his crate again! Poor baby has something in his fur around his face and under his chin, it's all crusty there and I'm afraid to clean him in that area, he seems like he might break! |
Hey congradulations! You're gonna have to change your signature now! Welcome home Bailey! |
