I have been looking at the buddy belts. Does anyone have one? How do you like it? Is it worth the money?

Go to Designer dog clothes and designer dog accessories for the fashion-forward It shows them. They are a harness. What I think I like about them is, they look very easy to put on and would be comfortable and are cute!

I have 2 and LOVE them - they are stylin' and will last forever. The leather is wonderful. For Wylie, who is blond, I have the black one; for Marcel, who has a black body, I have the caramel color. :)

I really like them, too. Although my little brat chewed through TWO of them while she was wearing them. :mad: I took them to a shop and had them repaired.

I love the Buddy Belt. They will last forever. I purchased one because Murphy was able to get out of any other type of harness. He has not been able to get out of a Buddy Belt. Murphy outgrew his first Buddy Belt, but the next size was too big. I wrote to the company and they made me one in a 1/2 size. It fits perfectly.

I love the buddy belts, we use them on both dogs.They do not put any pressure on the trachea and are very safe.They come in many colours also, and you can get the matching leads as well.
Definitely 2 thumbs up for the buddybelts !

Just wondering if they tend to break off the hair or not? I'm always looking for something new that won't break off Zoe's hair. Her hair is very fine and silky but breaks easily.

It's a very soft leather and you can adjust the buckle so there shouldn't be any tightness or friction. I love the way this belt works, easy to take on and off, and so strong, I can pull him off the ground and into my arms with one swoop. We often come upon big dogs with no leash, so this is helpful. I have several different harnesses, but this is by far my favorite, I love the way it looks on him, I think it will probably last forever. We do take it off, after walks, so chewing has never been a problem.

I have a buddy belt with matching lead for Abby. I do like it quite a bit. Very well made.

I wanted to know also if it is easy on their hair as well. That was the other main reason I was thinking of buying. Her hair tends to get tangled in other harnesses. Maybe they move around to much when she is wearing them. Minnie is between the 12-13 inch chest size, so I was going to order the size 3. I hope it wont be to big.
