can you please sniff your dog's breath right now, and tell me what it smells like?:D:D:D

milu's breath usually stinks. not really bad, but if my fiance's breath smelled like that, i would definitely not kiss him!

milu get's her teeth brushed almost every night, and they look very white, but her breath doesn't smell orderless. is this normal?

her breath only smells better if i apply petzlife gel. (it just smells like petzlife when i apply it)

Hmmmm . . Rhianna's doesn't really have a distinct odor . . .but Brody on the other hand smells like Christmas Eve at my house . . .(a bit like shrimp) :animal36 He has a slight tarter issue . . .

it stinks..... smaller dog's seem to have even smellier breath. I always get those bones for fresh breathe for prince in addition to brushing his teeth...

Laya has always had stinky breath too. It is especially bad when she wakes up in the morning. I have to run and brush her teeth. I brush them daily, but still stinky. The are nice and white so I have no clue why so stinky!!!:rolleyes:

I feed both my babies raw. Ralphies breath is one of my favorite smells ever (but that could be because I am a weirdo :p) it doesn't have much of a smell, just a mild freshness that I love. Agnes never has good breath though so I don't know.

Is it possible that Milu still has some baby teeth lurking? Also, do you brush her gums? That makes a big difference with Thor. In fact, most of the stank seems to come from his gums.

very very stinky. I have just been able to get cash to let me brush his teeth, i can see a difference but not smell one.:animal36:thumbdown

Well tried to get a sniff out of all three but was attacked by licks...a bit fishy... from the food but not terrible... I think their butts smell worse! :D

No odors here...well except last night...when Frazier found a dead crab.

Laddy never has bad breath but Lolita who has very few teeth....yucky. We bought her some Petrodex Breath Spray one spray and walla fresh breath.:p

Unless there are rotten teeth or gum disease, bad breath comes from the gut, not the mouth....same for humans...If you don't have any putrified bacteria in your gut or intestines, there shouldn't be bad breath...Diet has everything to do w/it...Probiotics are good for humans, as well as chlorella, a sea algae...For dogs, a good quality dog food w/good regular bm's should help...I give apple a little raw organic spinach and a few blueberries everyday to keep the bowels moving nicely, and she has nice breath too...Just thought I'd put my two cents in lol....

He's been laying down for a while so I guess he has "laying down" breath...sorta like morning breath...LOL

I can't brush Gucci's teeth...it's too hard...so I have them cleaned by the vet twice a year (he has a cleaning well over due).
He's teeth are yellow and he had to get one pulled already.
Vet says Terriers have really bad teeth :(

Ben's smells a little fishy but not the good kind of fishy. Peeyoo! The puppie has cute puppy breath! Which is good cause he always wants to be in my face. I even gave Candy a little love and she has odorless breath. I am sure our older dachshund's breath stinks as she smells bad all the time (medical problems). But Ben is the only one of the younger ones to smell bad. The vet said he was getting just a little tartar build up last visit, but not enough to worry over yet. Maybe I should order some Petzlife.

I did try several things like puppermints and canine toothpaste but he would not eat the puppermints and the toothpaste only works for a bit after brushing. Sorry, I know I am no help on this one.

Just thought I'd mention that I drink sea algae every day and Curly fights me for it. The girl LOVES that nasty stuff!

You crack me up! This is the end of a long night. But I will be behind tomorrow if I don't read a little more before bedtime. I have seen some dogs rear up when you smell their breath and others just sit on their booty. I like to kiss them on the cheeks but not on the caboose. I wouldn't want to be one of the bums that wound up the butt of the joke about derrieres. That is probably more keister humor than you would have liked, am I right?
