Sad About Parti Yorkie! :eyetearss I visited this site www.crownridgegems.com and I absolutely love their babies. Right now I have no money at all to spare but maybe mid next year I was going to get another yorkie. So I called and asked about their babies. Specifically for a full breeding rights female and she said they were $5000.00. I thought that was alot I knew they would be pricy maybe $3500.00 max I thought but they are much more. I guess they are worth it though. My chances now are slim to none but I will still try to save till I reach that amount. Visit the site so you can see their babies. |
awww i'm sorry! :( they are so pretty. i'm sure your baby will come around, just give it time! i know easier said than done! |

yup! i made a thread, sorry i made a different one, but couldn't tell who it was so i just put the name, but, i made a better one, its on new posts now. :D |
I have seen her site it is so cute and I have had a wonderful conversation with her as well. I was exploring the parti's and the Biewers at the same time. But I decided on adventuring with the Biewers. But maybe you should speak with the other members here that raise the Parti's they may have the one you are looking for.... :) |

I saw the site and they are absolutely gorgeous, I think I want one, too. They sure cost a bundle. Let's see. |
Gosh! They really are beautiful. :) |
They are beautiful. Good luck! I would love to have a parti too. |
As long as you buy a true pie-bald gal or little man you can breed her/him to a piebald carrier, 75% of the litter will produce piebald babies. Breeding a non carrier to a true piebald will produce 50% of the litter piebald. Bottom line you dont have to buy a breeding pair as long as one is a true piebald. Think about this less expensive way to go buy a male piebald $3500 breed him to a female piebald carrier or non carrier you will still produce a piebald perhaps not the entire litter nonetheless its a much more prudent way of doing it. I have a piebald carrier gal "Trina" and Kathy has piebald carriers in some of her litters. hope this helps |
I have a question - If money is a concern, why wouldn't someone just fly to Germany and buy a pair of Biewers and fly back? I was pricing male Biewers (who would have full breeding rights, though I would never breed them) with perfect conformation at 6 months old and they were VERY inexpensive. Flown in from Germany to the east coast and then shipped to me in Chicago for less than half the price of $5k. I guess what I'm saying is - $5k seems like a lot to ask for a Parti no matter which sex. |
Yes, they are very expensive. IMO, I think it's because they are still fairly new. After a few years, I see the prices going down. I hope so that way everyday people will also be able to enjoy these beauts! |
I thought long and hard about bringing in a breeding pair of biewers then thought about what a craze it has become, as well, I doubt that the AKC will ever accept the Biewers. The pricing that their offspring are being sold for here in the US is astronomical no doubt that will change since so many more breeders are importing them. Marketing 101 the more the market saturation the lesser the price. They will become much more affordable as the imports mature and breed in the next year or two. If I were to breed the white yorkies I would opt for the parti-color because they are AKC registered. Downside, because there are so few parti-color the AKC doesnt allow them to compete in comformation as yet but from my conversations from Summit and Gem they seem optimistic that will change soon enough. JMHO |
That in my opinion is way too much for ak pet. They are beautiful, and cuter than a button, but so are the average Yorkie! Did I say average? Shame on me! LOL. I do think there has to be a time when poeple say enough already! I believe this is highway robbery! Beautiful, thoughPat |
