An Update on my father...
 
The vigil has finally ended; my father passed away quietly today at 2pm. As I write this, I still feel both drained and numb. Tomorrow I work out the details for my father's funeral including a military funeral as he was a Korean war veteran.
I wish to thank all of you who have kept my father and I in their thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss...it is difficult losing a loved one. I hope you have many happy memories to help lessen the pain.

You are deeply in my thoughts and prayers! My father passed in February so unexpected and it was such a shock to us )= He also had a military funeral and although still sad it was so beautiful!

I am very sorry for your loss...my dad passed away Sept.25th so I understand the pain. My dad also had a military funeral (he was in the Navy when he was younger) and it was the prettiest service.

You and your family are in my thoughts~

Thank you for your prayers and thoughts. My father was in the Air Force during the Korean War. A friend of my son-in-law will also be attending to honor him as he was in the Army during the Vietnam War. I am looking forward to it as it will be honoring my father's last wishes.
