How fast can a Peewee Pete go? Peewee Pete is 7 weeks old and only 8.4 ounces. He is about 3 1/2 inches at his shoulder and about 5 inches long from chest to butt. I have 5 litters running around here, of which he and his siblings are the youngest. I walk across the room kicking little furbutts and trying not to step on toes, tails or fur. If I stop, even for an instant Peewee Pete comes from out of nowhere and stands between my feet. Now, he doesn't really come from out of nowhere, it's just that he is so much tinier than all the others that you can't see him under them. I don't dare try to close the door behind me without looking or I might kill him. He is always with me when he is out of the pen. He is practically under my foot right this minute. He couldn't be any closer without being a wart or something on my foot. I wish there was a way to fasten him to me like a broche or something. I think I need to make a tiny cloth bag with straps like a reverse backpack to put him in. I think he likes me. |

Oh, Peewee Pete got his name cause he is so small but brother Baggins, got his name after the french fries that are in the bottom of the bag. He got into a bag under our bed and I didn't realize I missed him when I put the others up. My husband kept hearing this puppy cry and we couldn't find him. Finally my husband got down on his knees and looked under the bed to find a paper bag wobbling around. Inside was the puppy. That's how he got his name, Baggins. LOL Sylvia |

I just felt I needed to explain his name. Sylvia |
I got a kick out of reading about Peewee Pete's antics! He sounds so cute. I know the tinies present some challenges, but they are so adorable. Pete is tracking to be a very small boy! I like your idea of a tiny cloth bag to tote him around with you. And of course, I want to see a picture! :) My last puppy from our last litter is endearing himself to us. He is the "big boy" of the litter but my son told me he is becoming like a hemorroid to me. Not the most appealing metaphor (or is that similie) but he does stick right behind me as I work around the house. He sleeps on my foot whenever I get on the computer. |
