Quick Question My daughter just got a little Yorkie, and she is having a heck of a time potty training him......I found Mya(our baby) very easy to train... This is my question: Are Males typically harder to train than Females? |
I didn't find it more difficult...however there are some yorkies in general who are difficult to train. |
My male was actually very easy to potty train, I think what made it easier was that we already had a female that was house broken, so he just followed what she did, which was of course go outside. |
My Male was alot easier to train than my female. In obedience also |
I've never had a female yorkie, but I do have 2 males and Deegan my 4 yr old was 1 yr old before he stopped having accidents in the house. I've had him since he was 12 weeks old. Trooper is my rescue pup. I got him when he was about 1.5 yrs old (this past January). He will be 2 yrs old in July and he still has accidents in the house - quite frequently. :( |

I have both female and male. I think it depends on the dog and person training and how consistant you are! I let mine have free run of the house too soon and had lots of accidents. Now we have very few accidents in the house.:) |

This little guy that we are looking after, I believe is much harder than our female....but then again I;m not with him 24/7....I only have him for 5 days..... I just find it so frustrating, that I let the two of them outside for 10 min and then the little guy pees in the house with in a 5 min span....like DUHHHHH !!!!!!!!! |
